Thanks for pointing out the missing spacer. Luckily I didn't sell this and will now take it off the market until I find that spacer.
I feel like a complete ass for trying to sell this with a missing part. Again, thanks for pointing that out.
Re: Yamaha Heated Grip Installation - Throttle Housing Debacle
I don't have photos but I went through exactly what you're going through a couple weeks ago. Another member pointed out that the instructions call out a dab of grease be used on the wire to slide around in the housing. There is no...
I'm looking at getting a pair of 33L Trekker side cases and was wondering if anybody knows if a one piece Roadcrafter will fit inside.
When I'm on the bike I like to stop and go hiking. I want to put the helmet in the V47 top case I already own and jam the Roadcrafter into a side case.

Installed the factory heated grips.
Took me about two hours. I had a hard time getting the wire on the throttle side to wind smoothly other than that it was rather easy.
This weekend Altrider crash bars are going on.
Installed OEM skid plate and did the seat bumper mod.
Weekend chores kept me busy so I was unable to test out the seat, but it does feel flatter while test sitting on the center stand.
I use an Omni Cruise, it's a fancier version of a Go Cruise but functions the same way.

I picked up a '12 for $11499 but no sales tax because of my trade. I got $1200 in accessories and the extra year of YES. The only fee was a $75 dock fee, whatever the heck that is. I picked up three additional years of YES for 300 bucks as well.
I got my free accessories today after ordering on Monday. I'm use to BMW delivery times measured in weeks and sometimes months. I was shocked to hear the parts were already in.
Installed the side wind protectors and tall windscreen. I haven't had time to test them out.
Still to install are the...
I bought one!
I picked up a left over 2012 with $1200 free Yamaha stuff and an extra year of YES.
I've spent the majority of my time on BMW GSs but after being one of the unlucky ones to buy a 2014 RT I've left the brand.
Besides the horrendous stock seat I'm lovin' the bike.
