But perfect for lighting up the night in bambi land???
easy peasy question...bloodline said:tusk (rockymountainatvmc) has a nice one for $10.
Thanks. I'll look for something with a dimmer for daytime use. The AdvMonstar lights w/ dimmer look good. Has anyone used the trick of mounting 2 aux lights and aiming them so that their patterns cross. That way, when you lean to turn left, the right hand light illuminates the turn and visa-versa?Mellow said:They're too bright for daytime running lights in my opinion.
Does the light work if you just hook it up to positive and negitive-?Rapid Robb said:I have a question/problem with wiring that I'm sure there are plenty out there can help me with!! I just picked up one of those Rigid Industries Specter driving lamps (like Mellow & Bloodline) & got it all mounted up nice & neat below the headlite. My problem is with the wiring (Sound familiar??). The kit came with a three prong switch, but I am using a 2 prong switch. I did call & talk to Rigid's tech & he said that the third prong was just for liting up the switch & to just discard the extra power wire (which I did). That leaves two joined ground wires (red/black) & one red wire. I'm running power from an Eastern Beaver power distribution unit (switched) to the switch -- nothing complicated, like tapping into the hi-beams, just on/off with the switch. My problem is that as soon as I power up the bike, then hit the handlebar switch, it pops the fuse (10 amp) in the E.B. box!! So, what am I missing?? Like I said.. Help!!!
The wireless dimmer from Advmonster (as the guy above me)jaeger22 said:Great photo showing how it looks coming at you. ::008:: How did you dim it to 30%? I assume PWM but which controller/dimmer?
Thanks,

Got my Advmonster Model 60 LEDs mounted since a week or 2-3 and love them. My bike is now a commute monster. Everybody is looking at me as if they're watching close Encounters
Here the leds are dimmed to about 30% of their capacity. When I use my high beams they go to 100%
