If plug-n-play is really what you're after, the Denali kits can't be beat. There is no soldering or splicing required for them. Only one or two wire tap are required and are really simple.

I can't speak to the durability, as my D2s haven't seen what I'd call a "harsh" environment, but I'd take what was posted here as a good indication that the control unit may need some additional water proofing.

I installed this fantastic LED driving light from Rigid Industies.

Very tidy.

I had to remove the factory crashbar loop under the headlight but it's really neat and out of the way.

Comparing the factory light output to the LED.

Low beam.

High beam with LED.

Here in Australia animal strikes are very common particularly at night and to say these lights are good is an understatement! ::008::

Those look great.. any chance of a pic w/high beams only to compare to the one w/high beams + LEDs you posted?

Also, which one did you get, I see they have 2 versions of the 5" LED SR lights. One is labled Hybrid and the other Spot, which ones are these?

The double row series doesn't seem to have the same lumens as the SR driving. I think I'm going to give the SR ones a try, it just looks like it belongs.

I have the Denali D2's and have been pleased with them. I don't use them that much since I avoid night time riding typically. As for them in the daylight I just don't see them throwing off much more to make the cage drivers notice me any more than just the oem headlights on high do. The install was a major factor in me going with them adit was quite simple and quick.

I installed the same rigid industries 6" light bar as uncle Dave (reply 22). I chose the hybrid which combines spot and flood. Incredibly bright and don't seem to bother oncoming traffic at night. Can easily shine farther than the stock headlights. Fits the hole under the headlights perfectly

Good to hear your happy with brightness of the Hybrid. I just ordered these, Rigid Industries 6" SR-Series Specter White LED Light bar which have the newer/brighter LED's in same reflector/case.

Since both are $265.99, what did you offer them?

Did you notice both vendors have the wrong picture. The 90661 has 9 LED's.
The 10" one has 9 LED,s. The 6" 90661 has 6.
The price when I sent the link last night was $211. It's $265 this morning. I bought the light yesterday for $210 at a different vendor. Maybe a mistake with pricing?

Question for those that have installed these lights-

Did you hook them up to the OEM aux light plug? I'm guessing that means the LED is active when the high beam switch is engaged?

Anyone consider or installing a second switch to use the LED light when the bike is not running?

I'll be getting mine tomorrow, not sure if I'll use the oem fog light plug or add another relay, the plug sure is convenient and they are low wattage compared to what the oem fogs are so it should handle them just fine..

Also interested in how the others have installed the Rigid Industries SR LED lights, 90661.

Looking forward to night rides and being able to see through the corners.
