Hey Tremor38, I'm the dude who started the final drive temp thread.Tremor38 said:Yes, both of you guessed right. What I said was very tongue-n-cheek, but there's no sarcasm emoticon ::013:: I think the dude that started that final drive temp thread was so worried that he was shooting an IR thermometer at the FD. I wonder if he stops every 10 minutes or so to let it cool down ::025::
Master COMBO, I will always fallow you in your motorcycle wisdom !Combo said:Guys, lets keep it nice..................K
I have learned a lot from this forum about this bike including other things related to bikes. No question is dumb. We all have different levels of bike knowledge.
I have over 40 years of racing and riding and I am always learning. ::008::
Here here Combo! You are absolutely right ::003:: By the way, what are you a Combo of?Combo said:Guys, lets keep it nice..................K

Very true!! My problem is that with my advanced age, I sometimes forget what I was going to ask.....Kevhunts said:I just like to add that the only dumb question is the one that goes un-asked ::008::

Where Tabasco mounted them, although I have my PC V stuck against the battery below the rubber band that holds the battery in place.Bigbore4 said:Where have everyone mounted the PCV and Auto Tune if used?
I have my Power strip where Tabasco put his auto tune and my grounding buss where he put the PCV.
You blew it and CANNOT have a PCV and Autotune!!!!! Forget it!Bigbore4 said:Where have everyone mounted the PCV and Auto Tune if used?

Out here in the desert of California, we called them 'Enduros'....my first being a 1972 Suzuki TS-250 Savage! Loved that bike and nothing that a silly young teenager could do that bike would kill it. Heck, it's probably still going strong somewhere!Combo said:Very true!
Way back when I started riding we called Dual Sport bikes Combo bikes as in combination….street & trail. My 1st bike was a 1970 CT-70, then a 1971 SL-175 then a string of Suzuki TS-250’s and 400 before I switched to Yamahas in 1976.

Yes, for sure.japako said:Jaxon, are you still using maps with the auto turn?
I'm gonna call Hans, my tuner and order the AT from him, while I have him on the phone I'll ask him how to gain control over the optimizer reserved area when using AT.~TABASCO~ said:Yes, for sure.
Im currently working on the map for the 13.2 AFR... After this is find tuned I will move to a 13.4 / 13.6 / 13.8 and so on to about 14.0 maybe 14.2.... Once I see all of these maps I will be able to look at all the data / power / fuel / Etc. At that point I will be close to adding the two maps to the PCV. I then will have a "power map" and a "fuel economy" map I will be able to flip back and forth on the fly...... I would like to do more home work on the (optimizer), dyno jet has this set at 13.6 as a "in the middle" AFR for a lot of conditions. I would like to take control of the target area that the optimizer has control over. If we could have full control over this area I think we could obtain better throttle response, more power (if so desired) or better fuel economy (if desired)... I want control over this area..... The AT is doing its job though and I really like the package so far. Great bike, great power, I love it ! !
