The unit is sitting just to the Right of the fuse block.. It is stuck to the inside wall. Its in both of the pictures.. The O2 is made by BOSCH and PC buys them that is made for some type of vehicle. It has two little mounting prongs that are designed to be pushed into the frame of a car or a metal mounting point. I trimmed those off for more room. It comes with a nice 'extension cord' that when mounded all up under the frame is the perfect length up to the AT unit. Total of 3-4 feet I guess... Keep in mind that the AT comes with a small cable about 4" long that has to be plugged into the PCV. So these tow units have to sit next to each other. My first plan was to tuck the new O2 into one of the cylinders down in that opening below the water pump. But after talking its best to have it installed where to the two exhaust meet up. Over all its an easy install. As I learn more about the soft ware this can be a quick set up or you can fine tune a bike till your cross-eyed. It has many features. I learned something about your map you sent me that you might not even know about, not having AT yet. Touch base with me Ill fill you in. Your probably missing some HP....
OK, thanks for the additional hints, I can see clearly now.... :-[

Just sent you an email to learn more about what you've discovered in my map.... I am really curious! ??? ::014::

Hi Jaxon,

Just sent you a reply to your email in which I explain how to read the AutoTune map versus the custom map without Autotune. Our custom maps are OK!

As a point of reference to this thread...I've just found the PCV and the Autotune bundled and shipped for an excellent price through Corseracing.com.

Usual disclaimer...no personal interest, just for informational purposes to my fellow inmates.

Do you have a link for that? I looked and could see nothing for our bikes.
Thanks

I believe I read they are water proof when the are set up as the instructions tell you they should be.. I have one of the rubber plugs pulled right now with the down load wire plugged in.. It should be perfectly fine unless I dropped the bike in a river and the whole bike was under water.. Other than that it will be totally fine.. When I have all my maps all dialed in and its all set up I will pull the down load wire and push back in the rubber plug..... ::008::

Careful, a power commander will overheat your final drive. ::005::

Ow yeah? Because we now have 100 RW HP that the bike is supposed to have at the proclaimed 110 HP at the crank....?

Please elaborate your claim, as this is the biggest crap ever heard of regarding the use of a PowerCommander.

Or, do I miss the joke?

EDIT: just read the topic regarding the temp of the final drive... ::010:: what a lot of worrying over nothing... When I read all the worries some folks have over the bike and what they check and wonder about..., I often ask myself what they do with their cars, or better their bodies... ::009::

I'm glad I'm not their general practitioner.... ::021::

Yes, both of you guessed right. What I said was very tongue-n-cheek, but there's no sarcasm emoticon ::013:: I think the dude that started that final drive temp thread was so worried that he was shooting an IR thermometer at the FD. :D I wonder if he stops every 10 minutes or so to let it cool down ::025::

Finally had time to install the PCV and AT and after sweating trying to find the connectors to plug all the different cables took some photos ... only missing is where to plug the switcheable power for the AT ... doooh ... and waiting the welding of the SS bung to the pipe to install the O2 sensor ... the O2 optimizer is also installed.

This where I couldn't find the switcheable power for the AT ... has to be some of this cables ... BTW I have installed the Gear indicator and the ABS disconnect.

Cheers,
Roberto
