I think the shifting problem is taken care of. It may have been mostly my fault but Yamaha is aware of it so if there is a problem they will do whatever it takes to fix it.I adjusted the linkage and regreased it with synthic grease.Give me a call,I am retired so I`am able to show it any time. ,

I have the madstad bracket,stock shield plus a MRA winglet mounted.Works best if adjusted almost vertical,just below my sight line-no buffetting.I can ride with my shield open,no problem.
