The hose mod is a must. My T-max is braking way better than s10 just because of braided lines. I'am waiting for the kit...

Just remember, ABS bikes suffer from softer feel in part due to the larger number of lines and the ABS block. Even if we swapped all the lines for SS, which would be expensive, you still don't have that awesome lever feel of a non-ABS bike with SS lines. :-[ The front two line kit will allow for a fender raise and more mud clearance or even fender removal, if mud packing is an issue on a ride. I just want to move the fender up an inch, (2.5 cm), for additional clearance. Mostly for my trip to Alaska next year. Might as well go with SS lines while I'm at it for the conversion.

Looks Great. best colour S10 aswell. Have ordered (and waiting for) a Touratech pillion seat rack and screen bracket, brake pedal extender , heel guards, and considerd the bash plate, but want to see the SW Motec and Metal Mule ones first.

Metal Mule are only about 30 miles from me, and when I went to see them they are developing a balanced sytem for their panniers for the S10, using a Scorpion exhaust which will allow 2 equal size panniers to be used. I have 45 litre MM panniers left over from my BM (sorry!!) so would like to use them with new S10 frames. I don't really like the squarish Yam S10 top box, so used my FJR rack adaptor plate and have fitted this to the S10 to allow me to use my FJR box. (Ibought a Givi rack and box for the FJR that allows 2 crash helmets to be fitted in it).

When the TTech stuff gets here, I will fit it all and take some piccies.

How did you wire the lights, I have just bought a pair of horizontal led lights , each unit has 10 led's and I want to put them on a bracket I have made which fits in the gap below the headlight. If I use the auxilliary lamp connector by the battery , do I need a relay of any sort or can I just wire the positive directly to it, and find an earth; or maybe just piggy back them off the headlight unit. I get a little paranoid about this electrical stuff. I have managed to fit heated grips and used the heated grip connector to trigger a relay to a set of FJR1300 heated grips. I used the other positive feed in the heated grips block to power up my autocom.

Revzilla, I got on their email list back when these things were sold out everywhere. They sent me a email nov 18 saying they were available. I struck gold on the since I already had $20 zilla cash which I applied to the Givi purchase. Total was $140 shipped.
hmmmm, I got on their email list about a month ago and just talked with the sales at Revzzila and they are telling me middle of Jan. Then tried to switch me to ALTrider..
I guess they must be going down the list. :( Must be a helluva list.
Glad you got yours..

I signed up on the list around 1st of oct. Had no idea they did not have them in volume by now. I ordered the same day I got the "in stock now email" which was nov. 18th. Due to the holiday shipping delay I didn't get them until nov. 28th. Yes I am happy with them even with the bolt flaw which only complicated my install slightly.

I am awaiting delivery. so picture is from TT site. I made my own back rack adaptor to take an FJR plate, but I too will pick up an altrider rack when next in USA. I am fairly sure it will work witht the TT pillion rack, but will confirm when it arrives.

Now how do I wire in the running light LEDs.

Tossed my rear tire and replaced with PR2. Put the wheel on a dial gauge and found the radial to be out .025" and side to side to be out .020". Took a little while but I got it down to .010" and .015", ran really smooth at highway speed 80ish and above. I think it made a difference for sure.

David, why the tire change? Wore through your K60 Scout already or some other clandestine arrangement going on?

Attaching a picture to the forum doesn't count! Or are you saying you attached the pictured rack to the your Super Tenere?

I want to know if the Touratech pillion rack will work with the Altrider rear rack. Altrider don't make a pillion rack - they need to!

Until I saw the TT rack at the Birmingham NEC show last week, this is what I had done, but obviously the S10 TT rack is a much better, if somewhat expensive option. The rack in this picture is fitted to a home made adaptor plate (the rack was originally on my 1100GS)

I installed a SW-Motech luggage rack. I have one on my Street Triple as well. With the addition of the HB adapter plate, I can use my Hepco Becker tail trunks on either bike. ::018::

Today my tinted Parabellum shield arrived. So, I installed it. Nice, very nice. It will contact the hand guards at full lock but how often will I be riding at full lock?

I spent the morning working with a hose dealer to fabricate a two line kit for the front brakes in SS braided hose. Been in the garage fitting same and working on gen II prototype. Plan to offer it with a fender raise kit in a GB. Looking like clear, black, blue and red hose available with steel fittings and oem banjo bolts/brackets for ~$120, possibly less with the right number of buyers.

What I did today was drove my ST to the dealer for the recall and then back home before the snow storm hits this Saturday!
