My credit card is overheating still. :-[
Just when mine was starting to cool down a bit, I find myself in the high-spending season. Between birthdays, Christmas and a water heater that gave up the ghost yesterday, my CC is warming up big-time!!!

My Warm-n-Safe liner and controller arrived over the weekend, and I'll be getting it wired up today to the Tenere (the FJR already has a harness ready to go). I plan on Velcroing the controlller to the clutch reservoir on the FJR, but since the clutch reservoir on the Tenere is much smaller, I have to figure out another way.

Today my Kaoko Throttle lock came from Twisted throttle. I was a little disapointed that start to finish it only took me 10 seconds to install , but it is a very clean look which is what i wanted.

Ok, I'll admit it wasn't today, but after installing all my farkles earlier this summer: Altrider crashbars, skidpan, sidestand enlarger,m/c guard, u-joint guard, exaust guard & rear luggage rack--SW Motech side racks, with Pelican 1550 cases including 1550 case mounted on Altrider rack. Twin MSR 1ltr fuel bottles mounted on sides of rear rack---HID headlamp conversions---1200lumen LED driving lights--LED front signals---.75" up&back ROX risers, MRA VT windscreen, Wasp w/s adjuster, Garmin GPS on Ram mnt, Sirius radio on Ram mnt, GoPro camera on engine guard, GoCruise throttle lock, Wasp Carbon Exhaust, with cutdown shield---then burned off stock Battlewwings and installed Hiedeneua K60 tires.
All this except the tire swas done on 2nd day of ownership!!!!! That's the problem waiting for 8months to get bike, way to much time to buy MORE stuff.
Then after properly breaking in and local riding for 2 1/2 months I haeded south ::012::
Two days ago & 13200km later I put DIRTY bike into storage in Vegas and flew home to -25deg & 2 feet of snow :'(
I'll pick it up & finish trip home (another 4500km) in May

I removed the front brake lines, including the silly cross over line, in order to have a new two line set-up fabricated in DOT legal SS braided lines with plastic coatings to avoid sawing through stuff. Shortly will be fabricating 1" front fender lift adapters. :-\

Installed WASP's Carbon exhaust. Sounds Great!
Installed Touratech skidplate. 4 bolts and fits over factory plastic one (so I left it on).

The hose mod is a must. My T-max is braking way better than s10 just because of braided lines. I'am waiting for the kit...

Installed new Caribou 40l side bags, 34l top case. Great fitting and looking bags but holly sh## some building required is an understatement. I think the bags should come fitted with all the mounting points installed to the bags. This would have saved me an hour. And the directions for the side racks suck. Now that I have done it the next time will be 1 hour total, took me four. Yamaha factory tank bag (Great bag). Yamaha factory aluminum skid plate, not the best choice but for the dirt roads I will ride this should fit the bill. 26" Parabellum shield. looks big but work very well. Thinking about trying madstad as well. ::021:: trying to post picture but file is to big and my brain is to small.

I added my Givi crashbars I waited 4 weeks on. It was not without incident, seems one of the big engine mount bolts had a serious bur on the threads. Appeared to have been damaged at the time of manufacture. I put the bolt in a vise and slowly worked the bur out of the threads using a small saw blade and very thin file. After that it went together pretty good.

Revzilla, I got on their email list back when these things were sold out everywhere. They sent me a email nov 18 saying they were available. I struck gold on the since I already had $20 zilla cash which I applied to the Givi purchase. Total was $140 shipped.
