This observation of mine, is just an observation, but as an example, the LEDs in the pic report 30W, that is to say "surely" between both bars, that is (3w x 5 LEDs) each bar.
After observing several publications, I have only found that "Denali" is the one that offers the highest light output. They offer LEDs of 7 and 10W each LED ... that is, bars of 4 LEDs have 28/40W of power each one
Obviously, its price is also "powerful"

They “say” it’s for each bar and that they have 5w led chips each having 6 led chips for a total of 30 watts per light bar

I’m quite impressed with it. I didn’t want to go huge as I’ve seen Teneres that have broken lights there if the suspension bottoms out. It’s a big improvement over just the stock headlight. And having it on my high beam switch is most excellent. All in for under $50. If I want more, I’ll invest in some Baja design pros on my crash bars. The hard part (wiring) is all done.

My clutch is always way worse than the brakes. I think it's because the reservoir is so small. . . . I just did mine and I thought "Why didn't they double the capacity on this!" . . . .
Is there a valid reason the clutch reservoir is so small? Doesn't make sense at all.

This morning while getting ready for a breakfast ride I found another failed Cyclops LED headlight globe (RHS)... that makes 3 in the last couple of years!

On the way to breakfast the GPS froze and I discovered that while trying to power cycle my Garmin Zumo 590 that the power button has failed- not the internal electrical button itself but the molded rubber has split around the button you push and the rubber button is pushed in and not pressing anything.

Oh well... Breakfast was great and on the way back we hit a nice dirt trail :)

Once home did some googfi - torn power button is a pretty common thing to happen unfortunately - Garmin dont have a replacment rear case as parts so out of warranty is to replace it- well it has lasted 5 + years. Other solution is to try a dab of black silicon on the inside to weather seal it and hope it still works.... I did not have any silicone but have some black liquid electrical tape. I just carefully filled the inside area of the button to support the push peg and leaving it over night to cure. - fingers crossed!

Also I finally got to replaced the Cyclops LED globes I have been running with a set of Novsight LED globes I bought as spares for this occasion. Cyclops LEDs have a plastic lens on the LED. The Novsight LEDs are COB style so hope to see a bit better light output and longevity.

Washed it. It dawned on me that it was the first time this year. And the last. Yes. I like the "grimy adventure bike" look. Who cares, I don't ride to present a piece of shiny clean "art" to whomever might be looking. So now comes the time to quarrel with SWMBO about where to store it for the (hopefully short) winter in Western Norway. Got my eyes on our cabana in the back yard. Only place (except the garage) with a wide enough door. And it is heated. I might have to move in with the bike, though, judging by what SWMBO is forcefully stating about where bikes belong... Well, the bike doesn't nag, though...

The brake reservoirs need to be large enough to supply fluid as the pads and rotors wear from new to legal wear limits. As the clutch plates wear, the fluid level in the reservoir rises so no danger of running empty.
Ok, but this is the first bike I've had that the two reservoirs were different. Guess they ran out of the old style?

Nothing, but I need too ;)

Had the glue on my heated grips fail on Saturday. Resulted in nowhere near enough throttle being available (WOT got me 4,000rpm max). A quick stop, adjustment and and a couple of cable ties got me home with much better throttle action ;)

But, the things that go through your mind (while riding) until you work out the issue...

Regarding the GPS repair, this guy can work wonders fixing them reasonable cost and fast turnaround.

Thanks for the info - I did find them as well - being in Australia is a bit of issue.
I also found a used back case on ebay but it would cost over AU$100 to get it and there is no guarantee what the power button is like.

So Update the Liquid Electrical tape (LET) work perfectly to fix the torn power button. The button push stalk is now supported like it should have been in the first place and properly aligned over the electrical button for a nice positive push click! The LET has cured and is soft and the button action works well.

Cost me nothing as I already had the LET.
Hope I outlast the fix as the Zumo 590 is over 5 years old now - It is updated with 595 firmware :) but an upgrade to a Zumo XT would be nice.

I just redid my underseat "tool kit" and you know what I forgot to put in? Zip ties and a hose clamp. Thank you for the reminder.
I dont have a hose clamp in my kit either. Hmm...i wonder if you can flatten one out? If so, ill add it to the kit for sure.
