Yes, the Battlewings come in three specs and most tire stores sell the middle-spec which is OEM fitment for the R1200GS. But the S10 actually specs a "E" series tire that typically retails for $35 more a pair. There is also a "G" spec for the F800GS and 800 Tiger. (Whether it is really important to use the E spec on the S10? I don't know, but that's what it comes with from the factory and if the E spec is available, I've always figured it was worth a few bucks to get the exact spec tire. There was another thread with a lot of speculation about the actual difference between these tires and no one really knows - I wrote Bridgestone and got a generic reply that BS does special version tires to fit specific bike requirements, but nothing specific. )krussell said:Anything S10 Specific about Battlewings other than size?
