The bikes that arrived in the states, had the air screw on the right TB closed and the left TB was synced to the right.
To improve the engine characteristics we opened the right side throttle body air screw 3/4 turn and then synced using the left side tbs. Also at that time the CO was opened to +6.

I was wondering if you had done that before the PCV and if you had kept the same setting after the installation of the PCV and Auto Tune.

I am not good at explaining things, so hope this is stated correctly.
Thanks
Ah, I see.

I have a European bike which has the right and left Airscrew at 3/4 out and CO at 0 as standard. Never changed these, not before PC install, not after.

Thanks, that is what I thought it might be. It seems there are many things different about the Euro and North American bikes.'
I noticed on my demo ride that I could lift the front wheel in first with just a roll on. Much snappier engine.
Not the same as what we received.
But with the PCV and other additions it is better.

Great thread guys, thanks for starting this one Blue eyes!

Finally got my AT set up today and ready to start using it.

One quick question, any concensus on CO setting and using autotune? I have mine currently set at +6 and am using Devin's map (13.2 AFR) with great enjoyment. Does the AT work best with the CO setting at 0? I have a feeling the CO setting richens the mixture across the board, but its only a hunch. Lemme know your thoughts, thanks!

I have a question. I notice many of the maps I've seen use 5 or 7 in the closed loop area. Does this alter the A/F ratio above and beyond what the O2 optimizer does at 13.6:1? DynoJet says these values need not be adjusted.

I just got a PCV installed (No AT) and using the Akra map from the DynoJet site with the closed loop area set to 5. I have maps from Jaxon and will test soon. None of them are for very high elevation (+6000') but I assume the bike has a sensor for altitude and apply a correction.

BTW, my idle is now stable and the overall power delivery is stronger than ever. Even at 6000' it's pretty fun. For those not aware, it's about 3%/1000' power drop, So I'm working with 18-25% less power than most of you guys where I ride.

Setup: Akra pipe, Arrow headers, stock air filter, CO=0, Air Screw=.75 CCW and PCV (no AT).

You are mixing things up. The manual states "It is not necessary to alter the values in the highlighted area. If using the Auto tune system do NOT input values in this area in your Target AFR table.

Source:

Manual: http://www.powercommander.com/downloads/22-041/install/pcv/eng22-041.pdf

The values that we have inputted (5 or 7) are in the FUEL table, NOT in the Target AFR table. For more explanation on these tables see the Opening Post of this topic.

The reason for this is because most CO2 sensors respond slow. Changing this value will NOT affect the target AFR of the Optimizer but helps in throttle transition and reaction time of the stock sensor. Outside of the closed loop area you are able to adjust the AFR as normal.

Thanks, that was the answer I was primarily after.

Another thing to think about is all the values in the closed loop don't all have to be 5-7... Etc... Dynojet has told us from 0-10.. and they claim 5-10 to be the best. If you feel that any specific RPM might need to be altered you could go in and change that in the 'static' closed loop area.

Blue-Eyes, have you ever felt you needed to mix the CL from maybe a mix of 5-7.. or 7-10, Etc..... In the closed loop area... A customer and I where talking about altering a specific RPM....

I'm running all (7) in my CL... when it falls out of the CL, at 60% there are quite a few negative numbers AT is plugging in... I'm already seeing quite a few cell changes from the mid 80* (F) a month ago and the 30*(F) i'm seeing now... AT is working and doing a great job.. Working flawless..

Okay dokey! Just finished visiting Corse Racing and wanted to verify that the AT model we are using for this bike is the AT200 (single channel)..correct? This is dangerous..I need to be using by laptop for homework, not this :D 8)

With some help from a couple phone calls to Jaxon I got my Arrow Header and PCV with Auto Tune installed over the weekend. Loaded the latest map Jaxon sent me. First impressions are very positive. Idle was dead smooth, the hesitation right of idle is almost gone and the throttle action feels more responsive and smooth while accelerating. I did have a little surging putting along at just over 2K RPM in rush hour traffic last night. When I got home I noticed that the Auto Tune was not turned on for some reason even though I thought I turned it on the day before. I got that squared away last night and road to work again today. I'll check the Auto Tune tonight to see what it changed.

I'll post more impressions after I have had some more time to ride.

If you are using the Akra can made for the S10, some of the numbers may need to be changed in the closed loop. I believe that can adds more back pressure and needs slightly different fueling.

That is what I am using. I will ride it a while and see what happens.

I am getting ready to order (in the next month or so) my exhaust & PC....so....it would be nice if we had a place to post & share the different PC Maps that everyone has put together along with the specifics of the maps (bike configuration, etc).

Maybe?

That would be nice.. We do have a good thread just for the PCV and tuning. If you post what you have, someone will send a map or maps that you can start with. The Auto Tune will do the fine tuning.
I have a Leo Vince can and live at about 1,000 ft. So my maps will be tuned to that. I also use 93 octane, but may drop that to 89. That should not have a huge difference in how the bike runs.

I think that is a great idea... Problem is if someone that makes a map that is no good, and then adds it to the page others that don't know any better might load this map and cause damage... Its great if you know what your looking at... But if you don't you might run into a "messed up" map.... Dyno-jet use to allow this on there web site. But people where adding corrupted files and causing problems.. Now they offer there own and that's it.....

Anyone that needs a few maps, I can send you all you want... Others as well are willing to share..

Just rode home in light rain in stop and go traffic. Bike runs like crap from idle to 2K RPM. Surged bucked and popped right of idle in the heavy traffic. Acted like it was going to stall a couple times. Jaxon I am using the map you sent me a couple days ago.

Any suggestions?
