My sentiments exactly, being late to the game I am just glad I could get one in August. I have only waited a couple months. The original PDPs deserve the reward.lotecredneck said:It would only be available to the original purchaser. So if someone stepped in and got someone elses spot in line they would not be eligible for the cash voucher.
You also have to look at it this way, if you bought your spot in line after the program ended your lucky to be getting a bike this go around anyway.

I bet if a few people on her got these coupons at demo days they compare the serial #'s on them I bet they are all the same #. If they are could some one post up the serial # and we all could take benefit on this dealjapako said:Copy and paste this in your location bar....www.yamaha-motor.com/cashback
Or,,, just click on the link...
Actually, Tony, another way to look at it is that I have a piece of paper worth up to $200 when I buy a new Yamaha product. While I might not get $200 it for buying an XT1200Z, I could buy a new VMax or VStar instead and get cash back. I would also have the option to offer that piece of paper to someone else who could use it to get $200 cash back if he buys an XT1200Z. And a cool dealership (perhaps one in Longview, TX, a short ride from Houston) might be impressed by such an act of generosity toward a total stranger...and that same dealership could could offer me an additional $200 off my XT1200Z purchase to reward my generosity.lotecredneck said:It would only be available to the original purchaser. How so? The serial number by itself is worth nothing - you need the actual coupon. Yamaha specifically says the offer is void if the coupon is not the original.martinh said:I bet if a few people on her got these coupons at demo days they compare the serial #'s on them I bet they are all the same #. You have to mail the coupon into them? If you do everything through the web site and don't have to mail anything into them how would they know. I looked at the website and you have to enter in the code on the coupon then you get in. it seems like everything is done online, but I can not tell coz i never got a coupon at any demo days I went to. :'(markjenn said:How so? Yes, perhaps you're right and it's all done online through the serial numbers. (They may have you send in the coupon later in the process though.) If so, those numbers are a valuable commodity. But I bet they're not all the same and I doubt any number can be used twice.martinh said:You have to mail the coupon into them? Have you seen any of these coupons? Maybe if we hound Yamaha USA we will get some..fredz43 said:Each coupon has its own serial number. If someone were to share that number and someone else used that number to claim their $200 after buying their bike, the person who shared that number would be SOL.
Hound away.japako said:Have you seen any of these coupons? Maybe if we hound Yamaha USA we will get some..
Yes, I have seen several. Good luck with your hounding. ;Djapako said:Have you seen any of these coupons? Maybe if we hound Yamaha USA we will get some..
This is sorta humorous, Right now I would be willing to pay Yamaha for a firm arrival date so I can start making plans to abuse my new bike :'(japako said:Maybe if we hound Yamaha USA we will get some..
