I have bark busters on my DR with a little extender on the guards. they do a real good job of keeping wind off my fingers. I really like them. It was 27 degrees this morning when I left for work. No issues with my hands at all and I am still using my lighter gloves.I did get the bark busters installed , look nice and good wind protection for the hands .
It was 17 degrees this morning. I rode the Super T. It really does have great wind protection. Everything hits you on the DR. That is one thing that amazes me about the Super T. It is warm in the winter and in the summer isn't hot. Of course my other bike is the FJR 1300. It will absolutely fry you in the summer! Funny thing is it really isn't that warm in the winter. Any how the Super T is the best cold weather bike i have ever owned!cycle mike , I've gotten soft , it would have to be 72 before I rode the DR ,lol.
ive ridden plenty of cold mornings on my Tenere , I kinda enjoy it .... lots of wind protection on my Tenere . not so much the DR.
after the hand guard install I did a test ride in my neighbor hood with ungloved hands , the wind protection was pretty good . it was 50 that day.
