All the articles Ive read have said that the factory driving lights are 'good' and 'bright' or 'sufficient'... I dont think that I have ever come across a stock head light that puts out the light that I want if im out in the middle of no where at midnight... I have some Fuego HID's on my FJR that "light up the night" when im out in the super dark places out in the US. I'm sure Ill be taking the Tenere off road way out in the boonies, so thinking of getting some lights at some point....

Who might be thinking the same thing ?

Well, more lights can't hurt. I got the Yammy lights in the garage and they are going on.

Did you just get the factory lights or did you get the whole crash bar from the mother ship ? Let us know how you like those lights.....

I went with alt rider bars and skid. Went with yammie for fogs, grips and 3 pc luggage when it is available. I am mounting the lights up under the front. I bet a bar or mount could be made kinda easy to spread them out some like the mounts on the yammie bars.

I just received the Denial D2's this week. Looks like a really nice set up. I can't wait until I have a bike to mount them to.

Yeah, my experience with stock lighting on mc's is that it typically needs some help.

So D2’s here too as soon as I have something to put them on.

I had one of the setups offered here on the group buy and then decided to sell them. Still looking at my options, but have pretty much decided to wait and see just how good the standard lights are before I do anything more. Even then, I may decide to simply upgrade them versus adding more lights. Besides, my credit card is in the freezer for a while............ ;)

I'm gonna try to find a way to put these lights on:

I have the altrider bars and I think there will be a way to do it by drilling one hole - or some type of clamp bracket - and maybe some type of extension bracket just to allow the lights to push forward enough to not break if the bike falls over on the bars. If I can do it right, it will only push the light off it's axis a little and not break it.

I've used this HID lights on my ST1300 for a couple years and they are the best lighting I've ever experienced. Better than the PIAA 910 spots I used before that.

I'll post something when I get the bike and give it a shot.

If you don't mind telling us, what reason did you have for selling them. Did you find something wrong? I'm just asking because I also bought a set and have not lit them up yet. Thanks

I still think they are a great light and the group buy price was a good deal. It was just that I had second thoughts about it all and decided to do a bit more "wait and see".

Good luck!!!

I'm on the fence in regards to additional lights. If I do, I'll look at www.weekend concepts.com, as I know the owner and run a set of his 25w HID Bullet lights on my quad.
