And some more.

Tabasco, Merchant, Karson at the Blue Mesa Dam. The is at one end of HWY 92, which runs along the Gunnison river. One of the best stretches of twisties i have ever ridden.

The rest stop view at the other end. We stayed here a while as we were all exhausted and were having fun feeding a chipmunk that liked Fritos.

Ran across this crew causing trouble in silverton. Any guesses on who the guy in the cowboy hat is? Hint, he rode in on that pink bike :))

No room for error on hwy 550, if you run off the road its a LONG way to the bottom!

I hit the Million Dollar Highway without traffic on my way out Saturday. Too bad it was 40 deg F and I was loaded down. I didn't get to enjoy it properly. NEXT TIME.

Who wants to pre-run Arkansas this fall?

Ding ding ding. Winner!

You are supposed to say something about how fit and trim I look since we rode Big Bend. :)

Lost enough that I have to carry extra cargo or re-spring my new suspension.

And hey, what's wrong with pink Coastie?

Some random photos from our trip. Had a great time met new friends and a bunch of old friends from last years gathering. Thanks to Jaxon and Karson for all the hard work and time they committed to get this done.

More pictures! Still in Southern Utah here..

Goosenecks park

Deep SAND --- as far as the eye can see... The joys of riding offroad in Utah lol... ::26::

Leaning pack and being liberal with the throttle worked most of the way.. Until...

I guess my front tire decided it would be a good idea to cross the middle right there.. Thats all I can tell from the tire tracks at least..

Smooth gravel road ... Don't remember where though honestly -

We got further north into utah via that lovely sand road I have pix posted of above.. And started getting into some really nice scenery up in the mountains.

Last camp site in Utah -- Next morning we are heading into CO to meet up for the real Rally!

At this point I had already had quite the adventure. Dropped the bike twice - One time busting my left side pannier. At this campsite Jaxon helped me pull it all apart and JB Quik Weld it back together. It worked for the rest of the trip and with some extra calking - I plan on keeping it.. It has extra character now :D

Teaser pic of the CO pix to come!

Road being "oiled" ... great times waiting around for it to be opened up so we can pass on through.

Ophir!

Left to right - Coastie, Me, Jaxon, Karson, Bill -- Photographer - Sara.. with an "A"! (no H) Thanks Sara!

While Jaxon was blasting down these roads doing the speed limit... ::) ::) ::) I took a moment to enjoy the scenery and took some snapshots.

Bill enjoying the scenery too

Karson & Sara cruising in after the twistiest road of my life

Karson, Jaxon, John, Me, and Scott

Here's the group on the return trip.. K60's fully scrubbed in from sidewall to sidewall at this point I'm sure. ::001::

Last Dollar Road I think -

This was from part of the BDR --

Next day it was time for more mountain passes - Cinnamon

Beginning of Engineer

Top!

On the way back down..

Jaxon and Coastie waiting on me.. I kept stopping to take pictures so I was behind.. Jeep traffic didn't help either lol

Jaxon decided to play in a long water crossing at the bottom of the passes..

MY turn!!! ::013::

On the way home now.. Took a more scenic route back to TX.. Last two pix of the trip.. What a ride!!!
