I took your advice and got cracking. Finished with work stuff in Atlanta on Friday afternoon and hit the road. Went to Amarillo, then turned north to New Mexico and into Colorado. Up Pike's Peak on Saturday afternoon. Changed the oil behind a Walmart in Colorado Springs early Saturday evening, and rode almost to the Kansas border before calling it a day. Saw Monument Rocks and the Buffalo Bill Monument on Sunday, had dinner with a friend in Columbia, MO on Sunday night, and went home via Lexington, KY from there. Pulled in just a hair before 5:30 Monday evening.Dirt_Dad said:Congrats, Chris.
Obviously we all knew you were going to do it, the only question was when.
You're a hell of a guy and a great rider. It was an honor to share a few of those miles with you.
Now get off your ass and start working on 200K. ::013::

Jaxon - I passed a bit too far north of you at a pretty uncivilized hour. Planning on going to Texas again before the end of the year though. Will definitely check in with you and try to time things so we can catch up again! No review of the Rukka yet - haven't had time to write something that would be worthwhile. I will say that the Rukka Armas is worth every single penny if you plan on riding a lot in any kind of weather imaginable.~TABASCO~ said:your nuts bro ! ::008:: You should have stopped on by ! ::26:: Where are you now, 107? LOL Have you posted your rukka review that that you have 50 K on it.... ?

We're looking at possible furloughs in a couple weeks. If that happens, this ride will be my last giggles trip for a while.Dirt_Dad said:Hell, at this rate you'll have 100,000 miles more than me by next spring.
I look forward to your 250K mile report. I assume you'll have it by Christmas 2014.
I feel your pain on the furloughs, I sincerely hope they don't happen.sail2xxs said:We're looking at possible furloughs in a couple weeks. If that happens, this ride will be my last giggles trip for a while.
