Yes, it has a recall for some throttle wire that could make the bike not come back to idle after twisting the throttle. I haven't had the traditional "no start" issue that keeps popping up for many people though. And it throws the code too. I planned on having the recall done when they check...

I'm running a 6" Rigid light bar with a Skene controller on my 2013. No issues! When the low beams are on, it's at 20%. High beams on, it's at 100%. Not sure what the compatibility problem is. I've had this set up since I bought the bike in 2013.

I have the ATV Mid bars with the Tusk 1" riser blocks. No issues. Cables and hoses are fine.

I'm 5'10" and added 1" risers. I like my arms straight out. It's all personal preference. I bought a pair of Tusk riser blocks from Rockymountain for 20 bucks. No issues either.

I have a 2013 with 12,700 miles, original clutch and cct. No issues yet. Love the bike. I guess just check usual wear items like tires and such. Brakes are cheap and easy to change. You can tell who takes care of their stuff and who doesn't.

You said that you "checked" the linkage, but did you lube everything? Mine shifted clunky until I greased the shifter pivot and lubed the linkage. It's a common issue. As far as everything else, modify it so it works for you.
