Hello All,

Been a part of the forum for a few years, but don't get on here much. Let me first apologize if this topic has been discussed numerous times in the past. I looked back on previous threads, but I couldn't exactly find the answer I was hoping for...
I have a 2012 ST and I'm finally ready to change the bars. Stock bars were too high and wide for my taste. A little research on here pointed me in the direction of the Pro Taper Contour ATV bars. I decided to go with the MID bed and after fitting the bars the other day, I find the Pro Tapers are narrower (which I wanted), but lower feeling then OEM. I have some lower back problems so simply swapping the bars won't work. I'm thinking a riser would help and I found on here that the Tusk bar riser was suggested as well as the Rox. The Tusk is appealing due to the price and the fact that I can get 1/2" or 1" rise. The Rox seem to be only 2". My concern is will the cables become too short with a 2" rise? For that matter, is 1" with the Pro Tapers stressing the cables too much? I want to do this as EASILY as possible so I'm not looking to buy extended cables or reroute a bunch of stuff if possible. I literally want a plug and play scenario.

Anybody out there go through this same thing or have any suggestions? Any pictures you might be willing to share of a finished setup would be super helpful too! Thanks! ::008::

I use the ATV Lows with the Rox risers. It works well, much better sweep, lighter, stronger and allows use of the stock brake/clutch lines. That being said, I could use more pullback and should have opted for the Mids. It might be wise to get the longer lines if going this route. Good luck.
