I left Mexico City on my way to the rally in Tellico Plains with a group of bikers. It was an interesting ride. The bikes were very varied, Yamaha R3s, Honda XRE300s, BMW F650, Harley, Chinese 250 etc.
It was a long day to get to Media Luna through Sierra Gorda. Lots of curves and spectacular scenery.
After around 10 hours of riding 2 of the girls collasped on the grass to try to recover.
Camping in Mexico usually involves lots of beer and no Quiet Hour. This time it involved some howling at the full moon at around 3am. Unfortunately I am not a drinker or a howler. I did, however, have a good time.
