No obsession, just trying to clarify who’s a rider, and who’s just here to stir the pot, with political, or controversial subjects.

LOLOLOL. I will mention for the umpteenth time I own a Husqvarna TR650 Terra - I mentioned it more often than I would normally do in the past so that you, Mak10, would remember..... I assumed you had as you often refer to "members" that have never owned a Tenere and, most notably, after my posts. I normally ignore it, but I thought it best to straighten it out as you keep pressing the same two points again and again.

And, on the other niggle you constantly raise about me. No, I am not here to stir the pot. The fact that we have opposing views is the only stir that is apparent to me. Additionally, if I think I am wrong I am more than happy to apologise. If I rode in on a Tenere and made the same posts would that appease you? No. Mind-boggling logic.

Please let me know what is acceptable to you and what is not until such time as I get a Tenere. When I do, am I allowed by you to post my contribution?

Thank you for that reply, Phil. I don’t expect us to have the same opinion, or expect everyone to own a Tenere to be a member.

However, when giving out specific advice on a model specific forum, one’s opinion carries more weight with experience.

The problem with Internet forums is that people can be anyone/experts behind a keyboard.

Most here are past middle age, are opinionated and at this point of life aren’t likely to change said opinion.

All I ask is one is truthful. There are some here who are not.

My pleasure. I understand we do not agree on some things and I am opinionated on some subjects - somthing I realise, but I do try to hold myself in check. I may, one of these days, shed some light as to why.

I probably joined at the wrong time as we are living through a strange period.

I appreciate that the air is cleared and we can move forward the better for it.

Just got the AstraZeneca vaccine today. No pain, no issues....so far.

One positive thing about this vaccine is the appointment for the second one is made right there when you receive the first one. Before we left the facility my mother in laws second dose was all setup with time and place.

Going to medical facilities vs general population super sites is like night and day. I am very grateful we have medical insurance. It's not cheap but well worth it for the care and security.

The bummer and sad part of this whole COVID deal are the non believers. I can say with certainty that this is real. Right after the holidays the parking lot tents at hospital were full with COVID patients on respirators. Watching doctors and nurses wheel patients on respirators into the tents nonstop was surreal.

Other really good news and on a positive note are employers stepping up to the plate and requiring all employees to be vaccinated if they want to continue being employed. That can only be a good thing. This way it gives the employees full control so they don't feel pressured to take the vaccine. They can simply get employment somewhere that does no require it.

As far as military stipulations, all I know is our current military requirements. According to UCMJ, failure to follow a direct order will be punishable under article 92 and possibly 90. It's going to be up to the commander of each unit and up the chain of command to decide. I am willing to bet that it will be required at some point when the vaccine production is at its peak.

I can’t understand it. An anti vaxer I know will happily gulp down any tablets his GP dishes out without question. He now takes 13 drugs a day but knows nothing at all about them and isn’t interested in finding out!
