It’s a damn miracle!! Eric and I are in 100% agreement on something. In fact everything Eric has posted on this subject is spot on. Thank you!!

Now if we can only agree to do an Iron Butt together on a couple of 110 Honda’s LOL :)
Am I hearing wedding bells ?
 Iron Butt, and wedding bells in the same conversation. . . . that could be one hell of a honeymoon.

Not even close. I've done a SS1K on a 150cc scooter and I have no desire to do one on a Honda 110 Trail. 22 hours was long enough. :p

@Checkswrecks - Get with the times, goats, not sheep. Sheep are too well vaccinated. ;)

Side note: I used to know a friend with a bright orange T-shirt with NUKE THE WHALES! on it. He won $100 bet by wearing it into a huge Save The Whales protest in LA one time when we were in the Marines back in the mid '80's. It was epic. Just about stopped the entire demonstration while people screamed at him in the crowd and eventually from the stage. Bet was to get all the way up front to the stage before turning around and exiting the hot mess. He made it.

Don't knock it. My wife and I had our wedding at an IBA International Event. 350 or so guests that we didn't have to feed! :) A few couples have gotten married just prior to the start and ridden in the full 11 day Iron Butt Rally for their honeymoon. Still talking at the finish too. :D

There is a .00004 % chance that I will get the shot.
I had no idea the vaccine was that hard to get in Utah. Or is it perhaps you are kidding around? I figure you are just using dark humor. Any intelligent human knows better than to deny proven science.

What, exactly, is proven about a vaccine that was developed in less than a year? Speaking of intelligent humans they stopped believing the main stream media lies years ago, jump on board.

If you read through some of the earlier posts in this thread, you'll fine the answer to your question - and it has nothing to do with believing main stream media or not.

I got my first Pfizer shot three weeks ago. My arm was sore that night. The next day the arm was better and I did fell a little bit more tired than usual. Day three everything was back to normal.

I got the second shot two days ago. My arm was a little sore that night, but not as sore as after the first shot. Yesterday my arm felt fine, energy level was normal and I didn't have any other side effects at all.

Overall my experiences with the Pfizer vaccine didn't amount to anything more than a minor nuisance.

My mother in law is at stage 5 or so alzheimer's. This is one of those times it worked to our advantage. She kept forgetting her arm was sore. I did not notice if she napped a little more.

It has been proven that it prevents contracting COVID. Thus preventing the spread of it. Watching the numbers go down in the hospitals and in communities around the world where the vaccine is distributed is pretty darn solid proof.

I am so very grateful and proud of all the scientists around the world that got together and worked tirelessly around the clock to save lives by developing these vaccines. I also figure a 172 year old pharmaceutical company knows quite a bit about developing drugs that work.

I quit believing mainstream media when I was growing up.

"Proven"....is not the same as "promised."

Thankfully, the media had nothing to do with the vaccine development.
No they don't but they do have the biggest influence over the easily led as to if it is safe or not.
They also lied about the numbers from the beginning. The 'pandemic' is a farce.

Any intelligent human being should realize that when it is the norm to take up to 10 years to develop a vaccine, having one 'consumer ready' in one year is a recipe for trouble. NOTHING has been proven yet. There has not been enough time to prove anything. Any person who believes that a one year old vaccine has been "proven safe" is a moron.

Do you really believe that big pharma is altruistic and has your best interests in mind?

And....if the vaccine is really so effective why is there even a debate? Why are the powers that be working so hard to insure everyone gets the shot, whether they want it or not? If it truly is such a wonder drug the many who choose to partake shouldn't worry about the few independent thinkers who don't want it.

1) The media had nothing to do with me deciding to take the vaccine. 2) IIRC, it was CW that advised that they did not have to start at zero developing the vaccine; SARS has been around for a long time. 3) I do think that the actual number of deceased from covid are artificially inflated. But, it really doesn't matter, because a dead loved one is a dead loved one. 4) If you honestly think that the "pandemic is farce", you're just talking out of your ass.

Take it or not, your choice. But, don't tell people how wrong they are because it hasn't been tested enough. That's just plain asinine.

Agree with most but I think it is an undercount. A year ago there was no testing. People who died at home or in care facilities were not counted as covid.

Wife got second shot today. Got mine a couple weeks ago. We are almost ready for freedom.
