Very nice!
Is it true that NZ has a zero tolerance policy for speeding? Can't get away with even a few km over the limit?

Did a bunch of errands. Got to a bone chilling 40-50 degrees F around town tonight. Wakes you after coming out the sauna after a workout going home.

One cold stop the bike refused to bark off for too many cranks. Turned the key off then on again and it fired. Anyone experience this?

Maybe the ecu is challenged by the swing in air temps in PHx metro?
You got in a hurry and forgot to pause to offer up Sweetgrass and tobacco to the ignition Gods.

Yes, it's a thing. Mine has done it 5 or 6 times. If it foesn't fire up normally turn off the key a moment for the comp to reset and fires right up.

And I will add, keep the starter button pushed until it starts. (within reason) Sometimes she'll cough like she's going to start but doesn't. The starter disconnects as soon as she starts anyway.

Remember that if your first start attempt fails, always turn off the key and recycle before attempting again. Why? Because the headlights don't come on until you let off of the start button. That failed crank left the headlights on. Now you have less amps for the starter and ignition.

Cams in towns and cities are strict but on the open road most cops are pretty good. Up to about 10% over you're more likely to get a flash of the headlights than blues and reds from a patrol car.

Some countries have a zero tolerance policy where speed cameras are located and some police give zero tolerance as well. Few have as many police as the US does though.

A lot of speed cameras are revenue gathering nuisances. Slow for the camera and get back up in speed because everybody knows where they are.
However some truly are placed well and save lives. Our local elementary is on a long straight stretch and posted 30mph. Commuters in the morning would broadside the parents at60+ while dropping off or departing. The helicopter would land behind the school on the ball field at least once a month. They put a camera in both ways and those accidents are now fairly rare.

We had red light cameras for a while. They seemed to cause more crashes than prevent. One driver sees the light turn yellow and slams on his brakes. The second drive not expecting that because yellow means punch it, slams into the first driver.
