rodeoclone and I took off Christmas morning for Big Bend Texas. We got back home on New Years Day. So seven nights camping and 3,355 mile ride. Had a great time riding the new BDRX. We also rode the so called "expert" sections. And I actually thought they were the best parts.

Of course you would say they were the best. I wonder if Doug would say the same trying to follow you...

Glad you both made it safe!

You need to go with me next time, Anyone that would try to ride a Super Tenere over Stony Pass would have no problems on Big Bend trails.

I rode about 100 miles yesterday getting things done. Started out 17 degrees and got into the upper 20s. Beautiful sunny day. Today not so much. Dont think my big girl will be off this hill in a while. Well it would go down easy and FAST! just would not come back up im sure. 20250105_125152.jpg

Welcome back ride in AZ. We were welcomed back by house issues of a water leak and mold, but that's the price we pay for getting out of the midwest winters. Restoration project under way.

First Ride: The Apache Trail is now reopened all the way. Best shape ever. They are in the process of paving from Roosevelt Lake to Apache lake.

Very dry in AZ this year, no rain at all...

Didnt ride the super t today. Drive still too messed up to get it up the hill. Still solid ice on my road and patchy ice 3 more miles out to the main road. Not bad after that. I did however get to ride the bush pig to check on the parents place. It was a windy but a beautiful day to ride. I did get hung up twice coming up the hill when i got home but a little rocking and weight transfer it dug out and came up the hill even with a very worn tire on the back. 20250113_122558.jpg20250113_132619.jpg20250113_132335.jpg

Did a bunch of errands. Got to a bone chilling 40-50 degrees F around town tonight. Wakes you after coming out the sauna after a workout going home.

One cold stop the bike refused to bark off for too many cranks. Turned the key off then on again and it fired. Anyone experience this?

Maybe the ecu is challenged by the swing in air temps in PHx metro?
