In '93, after not having a bike for a few years I picked up an '84 Magna. I of course had no gear. It rained all the way home
When I bought my KLR it was during the great floods of '04. The streets were running like rivers.
The day I picked up my Strom it was a severe thunderstorm warning. A funnel cloud was reported just a couple miles away.

Their calling for storms Friday, so the karma part seems to be holding. Best batten down the hatches if you live in SW Pa. when I leave to go pick it up. ::013::

Received a box at my front door from Stadium that had my new headlamp shroud that i initially mangled after loctiting the well nuts holding it on. DOH! After that I was finally able to stitch up my ddm tuning HID install. Took it out for a spin last night and it's a game changer with regards to seeing and being seen. ::012::

Installed my On/Off clutch bypass switch from Beaver Power. So now have 3 modes, Touring, Sport, and Super Sport. Hell of an option for $30. ::001::
Got a link to the beaver power switch?

Just installed Longboard's void-filler below the headlights. Bike looks much more finished with it in place.

Great investment for me - that void has bugged me since day one.

Tried, but the cell phone in the garage with a horrid backlight doesn't do it justice. I'll get some good shots this weekend...

Ya might feel that way right now... but come September 1st we start getting frost on the pumkins and riding starts to narrow down to mid day rides. Frosty mornings make commuting tooooo risky. :'(

Yep, know what you mean.. We do have a longer riding season then you, but starting on a frosty morning is not that bad if the roads are clear..
It was 106 in my shop today.. A little frost would be welcome. I'll just have to keep getting mine on the glass. ::025:: ::003::

It was a little warm mowing the lawn yesterday - hey, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger...... 2nd half of that, what kills you really sux...

Back on topic - since I upgraded my headlight wiring, put in some 65w osram rally bulbs.

Yup! It's a whole lot easier to put clothes on rather than peel skin off....

I mowed yesterday and it wasn't too hot (95F) but, we had one of those super humid days... The kind that starts you sweating just standing in it... Yuck! A helpful tip for those willing to try, I used my LD Comfort undies and my Beadrider on the mower,,, and,,, I think it helped. It may just be psychological though....
