If you have to buy them they are less than $3 a piece. I just order 3 online and the price was less than $10 including shipping.
Source?

Thanks,
Rod

This is for the low seat position..

I did this mod today. Thanks Tony for the idea. I pulled the old Lowes rubber bumpers and replaced with the Road Star cushions. Everything works nicely.

As for drilling the hole in the rear support, you can remove this with 4 bolts. Two of the bolts are hex head and the other two are hex bit(at least on mine). You may have to remove the passenger seat(I don't have one on mine, just a rack) to get to the hex bits.

Pull the piece off and turn it over. Mark the hole in the middle and drill. I then used some dielectric grease to help ease the cushion in.. lol, then use a little on the top of the cushion to help the seat slide in a little easier. Yea I know... lol

Replace the support and seat and go for a ride..

I made mine even lower. After experimenting by pull off the bumpers and puttiing back on I realized you could pull off the little black rack also and make it even lower. Basically the seat pan just sits on the frame rails. Works fine

I remember going to an ISRA ralley years ago in Hot Springs when he had a dealership there as well as the one in Texas.
You are dating yourself! I sold that dealership in 2004! If I recall we started that rally in '98 or '99. It is still going strong, now as an open rally called the Hot Springs Rally and has grown to be quite large.

Based on a careful review of all posts on the forum I've ordered 5

One for the locating tab

Two required on high setting (just change the middle pair)

Four required for lower setting ( change all four rearmost pads)

If that's the case, I messed up on my order as I read it that you only needed 3 in either setting - and that's all I ordered!!!

Hmmmmmmm?

You only need three for either setting. You will always have the two tall ones in the front to keep the nose of the saddle high.

Are you sure? I understand leaving the front tall ones in, but there are 4 in the rear, which all touch. Are you leaving the two middle ones out? This is for the lower setting..
I changed the two middle and two rear plus the one on the support and it works, with all rubbers touching.

I will have to go back and look at the mount again. I am recalling from memory which is not to good for and old guy! If all four are touching in the low position then you would need 4 + 1 for the toungue.
