More like a bumblebee!!!!HoebSTer said:i think it will break things up a bit by leaving the covers over the radiator and battery black. Then with the front fender staying black, it won't be Yellow Overload.
Is that the yellow of the AP1 or the AP2? I don't remember the names, but there were two different yellows.HoebSTer said:I have chosen Honda Color Y52P, like on the S2000 and the Acura NSX.
Sorry, the terms "AP1" and "AP2" actually relate to the VIN sequence. The 2000 thru 2003 model years were "AP1" and the 2004 thru the end of production were "AP2". S2K folks simply refer to the different model series as either AP1 or AP2.HoebSTer said:Rod, I dont know what AP1 or 2 means.
Think yourself lucky Hoeby ... I don't know what anything means ??? :HoebSTer said:... Rod, I dont know what AP1 or 2 means ...

Rod can you give the crossover to the various rattlecan yellows at Ace Hardware, on that? )ColoRider said:Sorry, the terms "AP1" and "AP2" actually relate to the VIN sequence. The yellow on the first series was different than on the later one. I beleive there was a 3rd yellow near the end when they introduced the CR series, but it was kinda blah.
Just looked it up: Spa Yellow Pearl.. Y-52P (AP!) and Rio Yellow Pearl.. Y-65P (AP2)
I know, a lot more information than you were looking for!!!
Sure, not a problem!!! I just checked the can.........SisuTen said:Rod can you give the crossover to the various rattlecan yellows at Ace Hardware, on that? )

Thanks Rod for the info!!! Makes sense!!! It is simple, when a manufacturer changes some major things on a certain model that is in production, this like the AP 1 or 2 decides which years these were. Toyota did it with the Supra years ago, years up to 1992ish were considered Mark III Supras and 1993 to 1998 were designated as Mark IV Supra's, still supras!!!Swagger said:Think yourself lucky Hoeby ...
