Thinking of Painting Yellow or White???

Eric, As i have said in the past, I really like the bike so far, but Black just doesn't do it for me at all!!! In my mind, anyone can have a black bike or even a blue one!!! I really like the white color of Italy, but think some will paint it white and mine will not be special. Now, I will be special!!!! In the end, my scheme will look good!!! I just have to figure out how to paint the Yammie bags with a rattle can!!!!
You are not the first to think i am knucking futs!!!! My family has said that for years when it comes to me painting perfectly new bikes. I can always change it back!!!!

Eric, Oh, i dropped the pieces off last night at 6pm, and will have them back in my hand tomorrow at noon-ish!!!! It should only take an hour or so to put it back together. Oh, in case you or others didn't know, life is busy now for me with long work hours and 7 month old at home. For me right nowriding to work is a good day riding!!!!

THe parts are being dropped off at painter tonight!!!! Pics to come!!! I haven't been too excited to install skid plate or crash bars since everything had to come off anyway for this part of the adventure. Pics to follow soon!!!!

Jeff. I, for one, salute you for having the guts to go the extra mile to make it look the way you want. I can't wait to see the results. It's not really that much trouble to get the 4 colored parts painted.

EricV, Well What?? The painter dropped off the parts to me on friday. It sucked Bigtime, the color that is!!!! Sort of like a Pastell Yellow!!!! Way to much white as a base part of the color. I gave him the color code, but something went wrong. I will be giving him the exact color off of a panel I have from my old Yellow Honda ST. This is the color I want. He can do it again overnight with no problem. Oh well, win some, lose some, then you get what you want!!!! We'll see this week. At least I have some time to get most everything else buttoned up i need to do to the bike.

i used Dupli-Color Semi-Glass black spray can. I hope it works. After each coat, I took a heat gun to it. Maybe it will stick, maybe it won't!!!! Looks good now!!! There is always winter to send it off to be powder-coated.

its done, it is all back together now after painting. The black WASP decals were made for a Yellow bike!!!
