No worries, mate. All in good fun. You make a good point. I should probably try politics, but I couldn't stand the people I'd have to associate with, and what I'd have to do to get there.

And my political correctness needs a lot of work.

Hey, it's July. How much longer can they be getting here?????? R

I have been pestering Ruth of Yamaha Canada ( Thanks Troll for the e-mail, not sure Ruth appreciates it though :) ) she is indicating she expects an update today or tomorrow. Hope that is not just a line, if the ST are to be delivered by end of July like the letter implied, they should be built and on a boat to Canuckville????? I have a trip planned to the BC and the Island early August, would hate to leave in the cage only to find out the bike is sitting here wiating. I asked Ruth if I could pick up the bike at another dealer, she said yes, but would likley only save me a day or maybe 2.
This experience has shown me that I am simply not a patient man

I'm generally not the impatient type but I will personally breathe a big sigh of relief once we start hearing of someone, anyone, getting delivery here in the U.S. or Canada.

On a personal note I think I am about one step away from becoming Jack Nicholson in The Shining because I haven't been able to ride since I traded in my bike. If I lose it and go nanners it's all your fault Yamaha! :D

buckeye71, you have posted 10 times. My 1100 posts have been from missing riding. So i come on here and post something here and there to occupy my time. I am learning alot and keeping my sanity as well. It of course helps to order some accessories here and there, wait for them, and then put them into the garage to keep the hopes up. I as many feel your pain. I too have moreless been without bike since last Fall when i placed my order. Not long now!!! 8)

Logistically, I wouldn't think shipping two boats across the water would be cost effective. One to Canada, one to U.S.??? No way!!! They are smarter than that!!!!

During the wait I have questioned the color I ordered. We all know raven is much faster and that is what I ordered. However, I often find myself pondering the thought of the fine looks of the blue, even though it is clearly a slower model.

Anyone else sat on both sides of the fence??

Not a second thought. When I saw the test results for acceleration, top end I didn't give the slower Blue model a second glance :D

I'm one of those guys, as well. I really wanted blue. However, I got in due to a cancellation and he ordered black. I like both but am still unsure. So, black it is.
