Small world. We have friends that live in Marion. They own/operate a machine shop (located in Old Fort).
Colorider, my brother, Tom, says he knows a guy by the name of Rob, who's a real motorcycle enthusiast, and owns a small machine shop in Old Fort. They've got a few CNC machines and some automatics. He says he thought he has (or has had) a 675 Triumph, CBR 600 and a custom HD. He knows of a couple other shops in Old Fort too, one is PG Machine and the other is Tilson Machine.

Tom works for Toner Machining Technologies in Marion. He said the machine shop world in Marion/Old Fort is quite small and that most of the guys know, or have worked with each other over the years.

Is Rob your friend in Marion??

Our friends are the Tilsons - who own the Tilson shop. Rodney Tilson is the owner and his wife is Tracey. I beleive their son also works in the shop.

Rod

screw patience, concern and compassion for my fellow man effected by the Tsunami. WHERE IS MY ST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, now that it is off my chest, the wait resumes, as well my concern for those effected personally, finacially or otherwise by the Tsunami.

Tic Toc, hope I don't pull my snowmobile out of storage before I ride my ST this year...

What profit it a man to crave bi-radial adventures sans the proper mechanism that might accommodate said activity?

Were but the Great Traveller housed domestically within respective stables across the land, peace would fill the realm and the seeking of new fortunes and outback memorabilia would rank of the highest order. Yea, the means by which even the most retiring of pale adventurers might otherwise seek the ultimate experience lies beyond our grasp.

I wax weary, for I am uninformed as to the temporal and substantive fulfillment of my most noble aspiration .... the Rider of the Desert makes his way to me, but to what end? Must I embrace some lesser form of perambulation? Am I to be made to continue sufferage at the hands of the natural forces that have plagued the planet elsewhere ??

My sympathies and empathetic orientations succumb to my overwhelming desires to straddle the metal monster of my dreams. I crave for the engineers and mechanics of the East to rise from their Samurai tuchi and pullulate productive, for I can wait no more.

I crave my Tenere. I am only a man. I steadily morph into an impatient bastard. Beware, and sequester the helpless and womenfolk should I wander near. My rancor doth rise. R

Ehhh .. same harmless old dog here. The only creatures into whose hearts I am occasionally able to strike fear are the cowardly mosquitos.

I'll keep waiting like the rest of us. Remember what I always say ...... no gnu's is good news. Who wants to be stomped by a wild cow ?? That should keep you focused for the rest of the day. R
