Sure! I want the WHITE one, but reckon I will probably ride off on the blue and never notice. :D

During the wait I have questioned the color I ordered. We all know raven is much faster and that is what I ordered. However, I often find myself pondering the thought of the fine looks of the blue, even though it is clearly a slower model.

Anyone else sat on both sides of the fence??
Both are GREAT colors, but since my present FJR is the Raven Black, I wanted a different color this time around, so selected the (faster/sexier) Impact Blue!! No regrets!!!

:)

I decided to take subjective feelings of color out preferring to focus entirely on objective mathematical calculations before settling: I started with a relatively simple Bessel-type (KelvinBei(z); In respect to the intellectual demands of my fellows here, I confirmed my findings with a SpheroidalPSPrime (v, u, y, z) differential equation and Wronskian....the conclusion was obvious....as I can tell from most of you already nodding your heads;

The blue is the faster by almost .02 milliseconds....undoubtedly due to the reduced drag coefficient (exactly, the Oscar Meyer principal).

Sorry Yukondood and you other Raven purchasers, those of us on the Blue will be smokin' you....

+1, I am in the exact same boat. I also have a blue YFZ450, so the BLUE and BLACK XT1200 was a good fit!

:D Fo Sho..... I'm gunna ride my 'Raven' girl for a year or two,,, treat her dirty... and ride her in the rain... (this is a kids show folks) :D Then I think im gunna try white...... Then pound that one for awhile... Clean her up, and try something different (color wise that is)
I was thinking along the same lines, especially since there're only 4 parts to paint to change the color of the bike!
Hmmmm, deep red? Bumble Bee Yama-yellow? ...

I was originally gonna get a blue. Then found out that with a little work with the Bronze draw off cock with hand wheel (without hand wheel if you must), the high speed taper shank spiral flute reamer will recapitulate the splindles, thus making the black faster (of course this cannot be done on the blue due to the reflectance spectrometry of the ingredients in the blue paint).

keeponriding, I think you failed to to carry a one and forgot to post transcribe the decimal from the Oscar Meyer principal. Purely an amateur mistake. I am sure with a few years more practice you will not make such follies.

Besides the black red looks better than the blue yellow, and matters of taste are inarguable.

Oh, Dastard....it is too laugh.

You forgot pi is actually 3.14159265....you were using 3.14159266; Some of my middle-school students make that same mistake. That's the Oscar Meyer conundrum, first documented by Heinz in 1757....commonly known as Heinz 57.

Damn those rounding errors!!

I was using the 1987 Orbital Continuum To Ascertain Numerical Errors (87 Octane) instead of the 1991 Orbital Continuum To Ascertain Numerical Errors (91 Octane). However, my new calculations show that black is sexier.

How dare you, sir!

I'll have you know I am a Kentucky Colonel...sworn to fight for the honor of our women (probably more than they ever did)...I use statistics and in the immortal words of Mark Twain "'There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies, and statistics.'........oh, .....wait....
