Has anyone tried any custom rear fender brackets for saddlebags? I have the Viking Bags saddlebag and it is leaning toward the rear tire when fully loaded and it makes me very nervous to drive it on bumpy roads. I am thinking to install a rear bracket for the bag support so the bag doesn't faffle around.

I was down in Barber motorsports park looking at his fantastic collection of machines. There standing on a little podium was a Britten! I was so fascinated with the machine after reading about it I completely forgot where I was and any manners I was ever taught. I just had to see how the timing belt was ran. I felt under the cover to feel how it was ran. one of the workers said we usually don't like for people to touch the machines. The feller I was with was laughing his ass off. I apologized and was very sorry. I continued to explain how I had read about that bike and saw it run at Daytona. I had enough information about the man and machine that he understood and we continued the conversation and he gave me a in depth view and explanation of the workings of the machine. It was a very nice experience. He was very nice even though I reached over a notice that said do not touch! Duuuuuu! Thank you to who ever that was at Barber motorsports that day!

When I was visiting a few years ago I was with a riding buddy that doesn't know or "understand" the story........ When we got to Johns bike I looked with amazement for probably an hour.... My buddy broke my concentration several times with "what is so special"?..... "let's go"...... type of stuff.... I seriously lost track of time........... That one hour of looking at this one bike felt like 5 minutes to me....... I must have been transported to an engineering underworld, and was totally "lost in space".............. To say the very least,,,, I was in total AAaawwwwwwwwww...........
I could go back and stare at that thing for probably 6-8 hours and be happy as a clam.... I certainly would be in my 'happy place'..... RIP John B
