I have no such issues whatsoever with Akrapovic.olie said:it seems there is sort of an interference between the GIVI bottom cross bar connecting frame to frame and that exhaust gas. Especially with that aftermarket pipe. Basically, does the exhaust gas hit the cross bar???
nice...imrubicon said:Well I added the Givi Racks and then went a different route for Panniers.
I bought the rask online about $200 and they had free shipping
Bought the panniers off ebay ( Pakmister) for $350 The corners could use better grinding but ehh.
As I wont have them on much but when Im camping and then just until I set up camp.
I didnt want to spend $1200 and they are not as pretty for sure but they are sturdy and I wont care if they get a ding.
They are better in my mind then softbags but to each his own .
I'am glad that you found it helpful. Looks great. Btw, i upgraded my top case with the new Trekker also. I've been riding recently with some serious downpour at 150km/h, and not a single drop came in.firedad415 said:Thanks to a post by "cosmic", I saved myself the embarrassing lopsided 33/46 "suggestion" by Givi and went straight for the 33/33 and a 52L topcase! That pic you had was dreadful...I can't imagine when they thought that looked good and the slight asymmetry of the dual 33L sidecase setup was somehow worse than their "suggestion"
Anyhow, here it is...
