I feel that revealing new model at EICMA sound promising, some improvement should be expected, don't you think?

My biggest hope ( and only one complain I have) is related to weight. I am just 170cm (5.7ft) 60kg (132lb) boy, and S10 is too heavy for me.
To tell the truth, I always carry pantograph jack in case of tipping over.

one month to go - EICAM!

(as to my 2012 world crosser, it looks no fatal damage, but I rely on my shop to negotiate with insurance firm)

100% his fault, and I am physically fine, just waiting a reply from insurance company if they agree to give me new one)
That sucks.

I can see the sadness in your bikes eyes. Do you think it knows it going to Tenere Heaven?

Yeah, the new one might be worth waiting for. It would be a pity of they showed the new one for delivery in 2015. hope it's sooner for your sake.

I recommend you go to a Harley Davidson dealership and test ride a road king. I am 6'4 and 220lbs and the Tenere felt heavy to me unless its after riding my road king....

USA dealers have been told that they can order them in March, 2014.

You must have been in Misawa for the Air Show? I'm surprised I didn't see your bike! I'm almost certain I have the only XT1200Z in Misawa or even Hachinohe for that matter. Hopefully you insurance buys a new bike.

I realize all this speculating will probably get the best of us, or might end in disappointment for some. However, just to add a bit of oil to the flames, information has come to me (via a certain parts manufacturer) that "XT1220Z" is the new modelcode...

I'm guessing a (minor) engine alteration and facelift...

Gr!

Wonder if they are concerned about the other bikes in stock trim...... KTM 1200 - 150HP...........BMW GS1200 - 110+Hp............. Tenere 1200 about 90...

I would love to see a stock tenere off the floor at about 115-120hp...

I'm not letting my machine go, but looking forward to the new hardware ! ::008::

Do you think these improvements will be freebies? Will the MSRP go up with the added conveniences?

That sucks. But it must be worse than the picture reveals. Something structural?
Typically dealers in Japan will replace every single item that has a mark on it. Between that and labor charges the estimate skyrockets. I could be wrong given the limited info provided, but I'm guessing that given the nature of the accident (a truck backing into the bike and the bike falling over), that it would be repairable for much less than the cost of a new one.

Are all these numbers at the rear wheel? As I understand it, the tenere's is but good golly, that would put the KTM in WSBK SUPERBIKE territory.

KTM is crank power, LC GS and S10 are rwhp.

that is what I thought. Apples and oranges.

And, if there is a 1mm bore increase, it puts the tenere at roughly 1222cc

:D

You forgot the 32 USB hubs, built in WiFi and and Android Powered dash with Apps to store and manipulate your Go Pro video's. Hell might as well just build the Sports camera's right in.

Oh and I expect around 1900cc the transmission will move to generator / traction motors just like the trains.

my thought s on this are real, this bike only needs more power from standard 130-150bhp, it needs to be lighter (the ktm 1190 feels like a 250 compared to ours, and of course better finishing, i.e better metal/materials. that is all we need. nothing more ::001::
