::026:: Rasher.

It was good to see Danny Kent win the Moto 3 Championship. I think he put himself under pressure these last few rounds, where front running form had become a problem - said to be gearbox/gearing issues I think. Still he got the job done in the end.

At long last we have a British GP Champ. Last was Barry Sheene in 1977!

Well that solves that, now on to our next pointless debate ::002::
Really, thats seems a bit narrow minded to me my friend

Danny's family have given so much to support his campaign, they even sacrificed their jobs in order to be there for him over the past few years

I reckon its a huge achievement by a rider who doesn't enjoy the financial benefits of his Spanish and Italian counterparts

Well done Danny, good on you ::012::

Anyone else see the irony of all the podium positions going to Spaniards?
Perhaps DP and MM had JL's 6, providing some cover from a VR charge. Maybe not, but's it's an interesting theory we can devolte to the next 5 pages here.

So what will next year bring for VR? Wiil he run like a race horse? Will he continue to behave like a horses ass? Will he retire from motoGP as a rider? Will he become a team owner?
Wiil he seek an Ambassadorship position to Spain?

He even fought back Dani Pedrosa should he some how threaten Lorenzo's lead - heaven forbid. Dani clearly had the pace on both of them at that stage. If I were Honda, I'd fire the little shit. As a corporation Honda want to collect as many points as possible and having one of your riders not only doing less than his best, also preventing his teammate from doing his, is unacceptable in my book.

Not condoning anything Rossi's done, but MM may be beating him at his own head game, but in somehow a less sporting and more obvious and less sophisticated way.

We'll never really know will we.... since VR was unable to catch up and mount a challenge.

Not at all surprises when no one(maybe one rider) pulled over to let VR pass.

Some here were chastising MM for challenging VR in a prior race because VR had the potential of winning the championship and for MM it was out of reach.
Shouldn't that same be true, if ya really feel that way, when JL is about to take the title?

VR is soley to blame of his misfortune, he imitated the "head game" and misbehaved on the track. Had he STFU, and raced clean, he'd be 2016 champ instead of chump. Seems to me Yamaha should dump the chump, perhaps replace him with MM, he's fast, he's clever, and he's a young rider with many championships left in him. :))

Blu, do you feel Marc was riding to his full potential? That is the 1st time I've witnessed him follow another rider the full 20 laps and not once attempt to place his machine up front. Odd that he found a burst of speed once Dani was able to grab (briefly) 2nd place.

Honda is in the unfortunate position of having the fastest talent on the grid while at the same time (presently) the least marketable persona in the paddock. If they release him (on grounds of being a complete twat waffle), some other team will gladly step in to provide a ride.

I don't know if MM or DP were riding at 100%, same for JL and VR.... who knows?? Too bad VR was unable to catch them, then we'dd know for sure. It' possible VR didn't want to play with MM, who knows!!!!

What I do know is that VR started the trash talk, misbehaved on track, was penalized for his actions...... and lost the title.

More then likely Honda see's it differently then you. With an eye on the Constructors' World Championship and Rider Championship in 2016 they'll chase those with DP and MM. MM's a young guy with a great future, maybe even able to best Rossi career, and he will have the full support of Honda.

You are spot on about Honda keeping the two Spaniards for next season. They would be foolish to break up the garage over this. Best to move on and get prepared for next year. My hope is Suzuki finds some speed and KTM's machine is competitive with the Big 3 teams right away. As is, this Honda vs Yamaha merry go round is becoming quite stale. Michelin will be the new spec tire and there was mention of a Kawasaki-based CRT machine so change is on the way. Let's take a few months off (SX is coming soon!) and come April in Qatar, we can resume sniping at each other all over again.

2016 MotoGp....mmmmmmn, now there's a prospect, lets see what happens when other manufacturers improve their bikes, I'm thinking Suzuki and seamless gearbox, and maybe most importantly the change of tyre manufacturer to Michelin

I do think that if VR departed MotoGp for, say WSB then the vast following that he has would move with him and that would be disastrous for MotoGp and also the fat wallets within the Dorna empire

Niki Hayden in 2016 WSB....interesting, lets see what happens when he settles into a bit of real man fairing bashing, I reckon he's up to it ::008::

Nicky Hayden has had experience swapping paint, lots of it, especially in 2006 when he beat Rossi to the MotoGP Championship. The race at Assen didn't end well for Colin Edwards after a scrap with Nicky! Take a look: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlBf-PZkmi4
