Now where in the site is the actual part? ::010::
Hey, chill !!! 8)

That's not what you asked initially! :D

That is Italy my friend, they do things THEIR way... not yours.... ::017:: ::024::

It's not on their website. You will need to call them. It is them or Diapason who makes/sells them. Diapason is the Yamaha racing department / special parts department of that Yamaha dealership. The Diapason details can be found in the website too (Diapason Icon at the right of the home screen).

Link to Diapason: http://www.diapasonracing.com/

Order can be placed by sending an email to Elisa at: reception@motoshopyamaha.com

In Italian the description is: il parafango ruota posteriore XT1200Z = the rear wheel fender XT1200Z

I agree, they have great products, but easily accessible only to those who live in their own village.

If you guys can hang on a little longer I'm hoping to hear from Greece on a new hugger design they are working on. The company is HLD and they made the hugger that was on E-Bay that was made out of fiberglass and broke when I tried to mount it. They have been working ever since that time making a new design out of new material. More to come.

Would someone please post the fitting instructions for the Tosco one? I'd like to see how it fits. I see that one part bolts to the brake torque arm bolt but does the other part locate in the hole in the inside of the swing arm that currently has a plug in it? Do they supply a longer bolt for the torque arm fixing and is it stainless steel? What is supplied for the other fixing position? Cheers :)

Yes, the procedure for aquiring the Tosco/Diapason goodies isn't what most people are accustomed to. Almost none of it is mouse-clicking e-commerce. The procedure works sorta like this:

1. Send email to Elisa asking price for specific item or service. Also include your mailing address, so she can calculate the shipping ...wait roughly 2 days max for the answer.
2. Upon receiving your price info, post the payment to the Motoshop Yamaha PayPal link, then attach the PayPal receipt to an email as heads-up to Elisa...wait roughly 2 days max for acknowledgement. :D
3. Wait patiently for your product 8)

I went through the process with my ECU. The ECU process was more involved because it had to clear Italian Customs and needed more paperwork/info sent with it.

I'm about to do the same thing for another Tosco product because I'm a glutten for punishment 8)..that, and their stuff looks damned fine! ::008::

The postman rings twice when he delivers a Diapason package!

Today it was the hugger. Complete with install instructions in a global language: Pictures! ::012:: ::012:: ::012::

It's too cold in the garage to fit it, and I still need to wash the bike and fit the rear shock sock too, so it will have to wait till spring I guess...

Send it to me. I will test fit and ride with it to ensure it meets your expectations.

60 Euro for hugger, 70,12 Euro shipping to NY.

Ordered, but I will increase my order tomorrow and split shipping cost. Who wants one? Probably about $100 -$115 range.

I am interested. Enough clearance to eventually put on a more aggressive knobby tire in the future?

I also have sent an email. Just waiting for a reply.
Be careful of the customs on orders over two hundred dollars. There may be a charge. just sayin..
