I have a feeling they are stalling while they try and get some more huggers in stock.

Just received an email from Elisa with a picture of the crowd at their door waiting for the hugger

You should consider yourself lucky waiting at home close to the fireplace. ;)

If my bike was here, I'd go out and hug my tire right now. R ::007::

Yep, looks like I will be getting only one. Got an email confirming she will ship one out in a day or two even though I asked to increase my order to 5. Must not have enough in this batch of orders. Sorry Guys!

I'm also jealous for not being special. ::013:: I was expecting to read on the last e-mail that she received my payment and that the tail huggers were being shipped, but that's was not the message I received. ::005::

Last instruction by Tremor38 was to wait patiently for your product. O:) So here I sit nice and calm ::017::, being negative could push me to the back of the list. :D

I lived in Portugal for many years, this shouldn't be strange to me, and every chance I get I go back for holidays, just like like some of you here, every chance you get you go back to this company. :)

Well had my first contact will Elisa about ordering there Hugger 01/02/2012 and after many emails
back and forth to actually get one ordered.

Today was a very happy day indeed 12:45 there was a knock at the door and a very nice man from
DPD was standing at the door with a parcel for me from Italy ::012::

Its my Hugger all i can say is what a very well thought out piece of kit it is, so well made and engineered
well worth every penny and the wait ::015::

Yeah, this is really weird. Four work days have passed, and I don't even have an acknowledgement of my order. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow, I'm going to fire up the Skype and get in touch with the english-speaking dude over there. It's a little un-nerving to wait so long for a replay AFTER they've had your money for that long.
I don't think they have the best business model for what they are doing. ::024:: I had the ECU on my radar, and wanted to purchase the tire hugger. After watching the non communication and slow shipping, I really can't order from them.

Hoping someone in the states will make a hugger that is as good, or better..

I just called them, Elisa wasn't there, I talked with a man who seemed very nice and spoke a little English, I speak a little Italian, but wasn't enough to know all the details like I'd like to know.
He told me they'll ship my tail huggers Wednesday, but he also told me to call him Wednesday again to confirm it.
I told him that a lot of people in this forum like their products, but the communication with their company isn't the easiest. I asked him if he could tell Tosco to join this forum so he can help us all, he said he would pass on the info to him.

I guess I am in the same boat as the rest of you.
I placed an order on Jan 23rd and haven't heard a peep out of them.
I sent a couple of emails requesting updates with no responses.

Soon time to open a dispute with Paypal, keep in mind you only have
45 days after the transaction to file a dispute.

Holy crap, Veets! I start freaking after 2 days...and that's normally how long they take to respond, though it seems they are backed-up lately. If I were you, I would call them and ask for someone who speaks English..there is at least one person there whos English is pretty good.

I received the following response from Elisa a few minutes ago. This is longest they have taken to respond to my emails and that was 4 days.

"Good morning,

came around.

Tomorrow I start the package.

Thanks

Elisa"

Chaps I took alot of advice from this thread. Ten days ago I place an order with Elisa via email for the rear hugger. I told her I was a private buyer she sent me a paypal link and I received my hugger last Friday. I amhappy with the service. A little patience and all the correct info and you get your item.

Thanks for all the help boys.

Three days ago I sent this:

"Good Morning Elisa,

What is the status of my 2 huggers? Will you advise when you do ship? Waiting and wondering??

David Hanson

Today I get:

"Good morning,
Party all day tomorrow!!!
Thanks
Elisa"

Wonder if there will be cake with the huggers?

Google translater didn't help her much.
Google translater >>Party all day tomorrow>> to Italian > Partito tutta la giornata di domani > to Portuguese > Parte durante todo o dia de amanhã > to English translation (not Google), means > departing throught out the day of tomorrow (departing tomorrow)

In English 'Party' can also mean political party, Google can't translate the word Partito.

I guess we'll have a Party next week. ::014::
