+1. My lights haven't arrived, yet, but I'm guessing that the instructions are not included. Thanks for the link. Just another example of how this forum rocks!

You are quite welcome! :D (but you might want to relook at who contributed the link). Ha.

By the way, mine did not come with any instructions. Only the two individually packaged lights and the indiv. packaged harness. I might mount one of them on my WRR just to play around. Possibly on a RAM arm. I'll be waiting for the soon-to-be-available automatic dimmer and order that so when the Super Tenere hits the ground, I'll have everything ready to go and possibly the wiring already figured out.

A nice chap over on the Tiger forum drew this up:

It's a nice visualization of the instructions posted on the VisionX site.

Thanks Venture! I don't see where it says if it is waterproof. ?? Also, has anyone heard anything new about the new dimming module option that was reportedly being worked on by the visionx people?

I did not see any reference as to "waterproofness" on that switch, I'm just taking it on other folks' word that it is higher quality than the bug button, which is only described as "water resistant" anyway.

I haven't looked or asked yet about the dimming module. Their estimate was late March, so it should be pretty close unless they are having problems with it. It's not yet listed on their website, I checked.

It would still be nice if the lights were simply wired such that they come on when you start the bike and eliminate the need for this switch altogether. The dimming module (when available) will be a welcome addition!!

Thanks again!

SOLD
For any of our newer members, or others that missed out on this group buy - I have decided to not install these on my SuperT. I had thought about installing them on my FJR, but now it is looking more and more as if I will sell the FJR after taking delivery of the SuperT.

Sooooooooooooo, I'm offering my recently purchased kit up for sale.

Same exact deal as the group buy: Brand new, never used. VisionX Solstice Solo Prime LED light kit, 20 degree beam, with wiring harness, relay, and lighted switch.

Same great price as before - $256 delivered.

PM if interested.

Thanks!

Rod
