Nope, still only in the Event Forum folder for me, not in the Discussion screens. There are other events showing there, like the Romney event. Weird. Think I'll bump a Forum Event and see if it pops up in the Discussion screen.

LOL, doesn't even show up under Show New, or Show Unread.

Just checking to see if any one in the Vegas area may be willing to provide storage for my bike for approx three weeks after the get together. I need to fly home on the Sunday the 25th then will fly back Oct 13 to ride the bike home.

I'm planning a trip to SE CO/ UT this fall, but I haven't firmed up any dates yet. If this is still on, I'll plan my trip around it. I would be trailering from central FL with camper, setting a base camp somewhere like Cortez, CO, for a week to 10 days. A day or three in Zion would be a perfect loop.

Just to generate some interest in this rally.
Things to see in the area.

The most obvious thing to be sure and visit at the rally would be Zion National Park.
The Narrows.

Bryce Canyon.

Just east would be Grosvenor Arch.

Kodachrome Basin.

If your riding in from the east don't miss the Burr Trail.

Just to the north is Cedar Breaks Monument.

Just south of the campground is Coral Pink Dunes.

And of course the big one is the Grand Canyon.

I'll be adding to this list as I research more of the area.

Just chiming in again since my first post in this thread.
I'll should be there on the 19th. I want to try the Toro Weap rideout if it's still on. My skillz will be severely tested on the pig.

I am currently signed up for a FJR rally at Wytheville VA this same weekend. I sure would like to go to my first Tenere get together and meet some of the great people that ride Teneres. It has me thinking hard about changing plans. I like the great roads of the SE but I defiantly love the West. I rode Zion last summer but I was on the FJR and the roads were great but I bet the dirt is even better.

Just guessing here, but when Checkswrecks became a moderator he moved a bunch of threads. Maybe, when this thread got moved, the notificationstate stopped. As said, just guessing.

I'm still planning on going and will help out by doing a tee shirt and sticker/decal for the event.

I'm not good at contacting companies about sponsoring an event and asking for door prize donations so I'm NOT offering to do any of that.

Maybe someone who is familiar with the area can make some suggestions of good roads to ride. Riding down to see the Toroweap Overlook is high on my list of things to do. ::001::

I also don't really need a fancy banquet, hot dogs or burgers on a grill and some cold beer will do me fine. I bet the resort has a grill we can use and we could pitch in for groceries and beer and make a run to the store. ::003::

What do you guys think?
