This weekend I plan to figure out how much vacation I can take for rides, and figure out which ones I want to take. for the Ténéré this one is on the schedule.

I must admit I'm jealous of you who are going to be meeting up and riding in together. To me that's half the fun of these rallies is getting a large group together and making the trek in to the Rally. It's gonna be a great time. Working on getting some Swag and giveaways also. Have a few commitments from a few companies already. There should be some giveaways that are sweet.

I wouldn't mind heading over with some NorCal folks. I kinda wanted to camp at Great Basin NP for a night on the way. I hear its incredible at night. Supposedly one of the darkest places in NA.

There's a camp ground at the top of Wheeler Pk that I've wanted to stay at. My last time through I stayed at the KOA outside Ely. Wanna meet in Tonopah?

I'm not a huge camper (lack of experience doing so), but I plan to attend, riding from San Diego.

We will be hitting some sites on the way out like ,Burr Trail, Valley of the Gods, Muley Point, Goosenecks, overlook.
At least one of them days while my wife lays around by the pool , I want to ride with some crazy Tenere riders that are willing to look for some great "off road" stuff.

Out at Romney you were labeled as one of the crazy Iowans also,
But I won't try to get you into any crazy trails.
You do need to practice camping so you can ride out with us and camp in some great places, like maybe Muley Point.

If you want to and it works out you can hock up with us out or back. At least on the way out we won't be on any interstates just back highways. Sometimes on the way home Michelle starts getting in a hurry to see the Grand Girls and wants me to hit interstates or whatever will get her home fastest. I haven't planned out a rout much yet but I would like to go through Moab one way or the other and show Michelle some of the White Rim Trail and the Canyon Lands overlook.
