I leave jumping to the young ones.
Get some trials tires and do slow speed drills. Quiet and won't mess up the yard......Been trying to do the back yard track, wife is not buying it.
You sound like my dad!! LOLFlip phones rule.
A guy at a rally let me take his recluse-equipped Beta for a spin, he had a rear hand brake on the clutch side of the bars. Now I know why......so what did I learn .... the list is long .... but mostly I need to work on rear brake control , hard to feel rear bike with M/X boots . being a 2stroke there is not much engine braking and with the recluse there is none available at all . off power and pointing down hill is to free wheel , miss the rear brake and the fun factor just explodes . fortunately I'm pretty good with the front brake , but it is the rear that I need practice on.
with the new Beta I am relearning a lot as the honda who would stall at the worst times was causing me a complex , got to thinking I cant trust this thing . the Beta just 2 stroked over everything like a John Deere tractor . building some confidence in me as a rider that I can trust this bike . and as I get older I feel I can ride this Beta for a long time .
I have the LHRB on my Beta as well. Rekluse is releasing a new one very soonA guy at a rally let me take his recluse-equipped Beta for a spin, he had a rear hand brake on the clutch side of the bars. Now I know why......
