I had an appointment to go see Jim and his Tenere tomorrow, I'm a potential buyer, but I received a message from Jim's wife today.

Jim was down riding in the dirt on his 250 near Waco, apparently crashed big enough to end up in hospital in Waco. I have no more info than that at the moment, but if anyone is in the Waco area, perhaps you might want to go see him. I don't know where the bike is, nor what condition it's in. Also, his wife says he has misplaced his cel phone.

Never like to hear about a fellow rider going down, especially one who makes valuable contributions to this board is always willing to share his expertise. Hope the injuries are not too serious and a speedy recovery is made, Jim! Besides, ya can't keep a Texas man down for long!

Ok rider update!
Jim has 8 broke ribs, broke clavicle, collapsed lung, small brain bleed.
The bike landed on him so it only has a couple scratches.

Correction: Jim was flown to Hillcrest hospital in Waco, TX.

He was on his WR250R.
