That already happens every place we stop with my wife's Spyder. Once the S10 and Spyder are traveling together I can't imagine how much time we'll need to budget for every stop.

I know this sounds low, but I was told either 717 or 737 PDP orders were placed before the cancellations were allowed. Allegedly the 7 year part supply requirement is a big deal in bringing a new model into the USA. IIRC my source is the dealer I from which I ordered the bike.

This will be my third Yamaha. I've owned a bike from every Japanese Manufacturer except Kawasaki. This will be my second brand new Yamaha. They just don't seem to break down very often and that keeps me coming back.

This will be a stable mate for my 2005 FJR1300. I just can't part with it.

Ya might be right, but that does sound like a low number.... I got an FJR too, not selling it, no way..... :D

Our Yukon dealer told me that due to the cancelations Canadian dealers were given the option to order bikes for floor stock, He indicated he ordered one of each color for general sales. That might suggest Yamaha was trying to boost the numbers - they may have been lower than we think....

I think there are about 350-400 checked on on the ADV riders.... if these numbers are close to the true numbers that's kinda surprising to me.....

Sold a 2004 Multistrada but more importantly was going to buy the new Multi 1200. Absolutely lusted over that bike but I feel the ST is a much better motorcycle for what I need/want. So I guess Yamaha can count me as a convert

I know 6 people in my area that have ordered S10's plus I have ordered one, so I know 7 orders personally. Of that 7, I am the only one who has posted on the ADV poll. Hard to believe, but not all riders that are interested in this bike are inmates on ADV.

I believe it!!! I'm guessing that the numbers that show up there may only represent 30% of the "true" sales numbers.

My dealer has sold 5 here in OKC. Not sure how many the other dealers have sold here and in Tulsa but I only see a few from Oklahoma on the buyer map.

My dealer in Romney sold 11 and could have sold a few more after the order cut-off date.

Three small dealers in Central WA have at least 7 on order for customers.

I think the owner of the local dealership bought one for himself, but ended up giving his spot up to me. Needless to say they now have a loyal customer for life.

As far as U.S. delivery dates go Yamaha USA is leaving even the dealerships in the dark. There has been no word if the bikes are still in production, enroute to the U.S., or sitting at port.
