What, if anything, is everyone using for bag liners?
Hi,

I use the Holan liners. For my 45s I use a medium on the left and a large on the right. The medium fits the width of the narrow part of the "cut" pannier nicely, and leaves space for extra storage in the wider part at the top. I put my camera tripod etc there.

Regards,

Matt

I do....just haven't got them on the website yet. :-[

The pannier liners are $44.99 each for either the 38L or 45L size, and the top case bag (sized for the 38L large top case) is $54.99. You can see them on Holan's site at http://www.holan.pl/en/catalog/245/484/0/bags_for_cases and I will plan on getting them listed on the ADVM site this weekend.

Thanks!

Jason

As mentioned above, Holan recommend a medium liner (sized for a 38 litre case) for the left 45 to allow for the cut out, with space for extra items. Using 2 large liners would mean you struggle to fit it in the left pannier when it is full.

Matt

Thanks Matt!

The set of 45L panniers shipped out today to a member here, but I do still have a 38L system in stock in natural/aluminum with a powdercoated black rack. I'll also be adding a few of the Holan accessories to this thread for anyone interested in farkling their pannier system. :D

Hi Eric - I should have another order going in to the factory on 2/18, and I'm quoting about 30 days from factory order to delivery to you. Shipments from Poland have been coming pretty quickly of late so we might be able to beat that estimate.

Any other questions, please let me know.

Thanks!

On the 45L right side pannier, is there enough room to mount a Roto-Pax on the backside, and is the case strong enough to hold a gas and water can?

AVGeek, Holan sells a 3L fuel bottle with stainless holder that mounts up fine on the 45L full-width panniers. It looks like the smallest size Rotopax is a 1 gallon (3.75L) which would be a bit heaver but should be ok given the 2mm wall thickness. It looks like it's a bolt-through install with the bracket on the outside, so I would probably recommend some oversized fender washers or a flat plate on the inside of the pannier to distribute the load. I don't know if I would recommend two 1 gallon cans on the back of the pannier, as it would be roughly 12 pounds hanging on the back wall. If you needed to bring two Rotopax, I would probably recommend mounting them to the tops of lids so the weight is supported by the racks versus the pannier back wall. I can ask Holan if they've had any customers run that setup previously...I might be too conservative with my estimates of the case strength. :D

I do have 2L and 3L fuel bottles with mounts in stock and just put them up on my website last night, so they're on the front page under the "Latest" section.

Thanks!

Hi guys - I've got another order going in to Holan on Monday the 18th, which would mean parts delivery to your door mid to late March. Riding season will be here before you know it....the groundhog in Pennsylvania says so, so it must be true. :)

Any questions, please let me know.

Thanks!

Quoted from earlier in the thread

The overall system width is as follows:

* Pannier rack alone - Approx 18.5"

* With 2 x 38L Nomada Pro panniers - Approx 35"
* With 2 x 45L Nomada Pro panniers - Approx 38"

Hi guys - unfortunately I don't have any pics of an S10 with 31L panniers mounted yet. Sales are split pretty evenly at the moment between 38L and 45L systems, but a 31L would definitely give you the narrowest profile. For reference, the black Super Tenere (photos by Matt Butcher) pictured earlier and in the video of the pannier installation is a 45L set, while the pictures of the blue bike (photos by Joe Marino) are 38L. A 38L set will lose approximately 8L of capacity on the exhaust side due to the cutout.

Hope that helps....any other questions, please feel free to post here, PM me, or email directly at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com.

Thanks!

Just got a heads-up from FedEx....I anticipate a large shipment arriving from Holan this week! ::015::

I'm placing another order with Holan today at 5PM EST to get in a few orders before a price adjustment occurs tomorrow. If you've been considering a set of panniers for your Super Tenere, you'll be able to save a few bucks by jumping in now, and orders placed today should arrive in roughly late April. I do have one set of 38L panniers currently in stock with natural/aluminum cases and your choice of powdercoated black or stainless steel racks. I also have stock of lock kits, case carry handles, and 2L and 3L fuel bottles to complete your pannier system! Please PM or email me at sales AT advmotorrad DOT com for more info.

Thanks again!

Good news Jason. I hope this means that those of us that ordered mid Feb might have them in hand by mid to late April. Keep us posted.
