Hey Firefight911,

Have you driven with these tires in pouring rain? I'd be interested to know how they handle? I will be using my bike for 70% Tarmac and 30% off road. Generally because most of the places I'd really like to take the bike off road are thousands of miles away. They do look like outstanding off road tires.

Thanks BC

Yes, I have been in some pretty good downpours with them. I have no reservations about these tires in just about any condition. Take normal wet weather riding precautions and riding adjustments and you're fine. They really are that good, IMO.

Well, I will sure consider these after the OEMs are shot. I doubt I'll do as much offroad as many of youse guys, but just looking at these makes me fell more "manly" :)). I'll check with Jaxon later on and see if I can make him an offer he can't refuse (I'll send uncle Guido to see him.) ;)

I am tired and perhaps a bit lazy so I copied the last post.
Do you still have them in stock for our Yamaha Super Tenere XTZ12-?
I know that post referenced was a relatively long time ago and it is Fall 2012 now ...
Oh yes and a approximate cost for a F and R w/shipping to 90045 (hope I'm not asking or missing to much)
You Rock-!!
My Best ! and Thanks !,
Danny Tz

I spent 9 days from Ankeny Iowa to Moab Utah, to support a friend at the Rawhide Adventure Tours, BMW Challenge. My S/10 had 3800 miles on it when I left. I was concerned about the mountain passes and the Moab desert. I consulted with Jaxon about a set of HEIDENAU's
he assured me of their capabilities. He encouraged me to keep 35 psi in them. He was right! They were everything he said, I will be using them for sometime. Another friend lowered his (Heidenau's) to help with traction in the sand and ended up damaging a rim. I will be asking (the Man) Jaxon for advice in the future!

Thanks Man!

PM'dwith Jaxon about higher tire pressures. I set mine at 38F 40R before leaving today. Had a light load. Rode rough twisty back roads from Hollister to Coalinga to Parkfield to Paso Robles. The rear tire felt like it was slipping through the turns. Stopped at the top of Parkfield Grade and reduced the front and rear pressure to I don't know. Descended four miles of fun dirt and gravel then continued with rough to smooth twisties and it was on a rail. Will check the pressues in the morning.

Riding Nacimiento-Fergusson tomorrow morning. Should be fun.

The K60's seem to adapt well.
