Geez LOUISE....Not ANOTHER countersteering thread....there's one on EVERY motorcycle related forum...
Good. Every piece a forum software should have an MC bike forum template with oil, tyres, BMW and Harley bashing ::002::, counter steering and "best ADV bike" threads ready to go. ::024::

And they should already be filled in with thousands of posts so we don't have to endure the brain damage of posting in them. ;)

If you don't consciously switch between these two modes of riding, you will find some gravel road turns a little "annoying" after coming off of harder surfaces. Adventure riding requires this more than what you might normally do on crotch rockets, cruisers, etc.
I can honestly say I don't consciously switch. If I had to think about what I was doing I don't think I'd have as much fun. The only time I've ever make a conscious switch is going from a wide set of ADV bike handlebars, to a narrow sport bike set. There I do find myself thinking about it, and I find myself more mentally challenged. <insert smart ass comment here>

I don't know if this has been said already, but I find the S10 a hard bike to counter steer, I don't know if its the bigger front wheel but they don't counter steer as well as a sports bike I find.

28 Degree Rake. Stable Vs quick. Bit more effort and tend to hold it's line. Better in the rough. Compromises. They're a bugger.
