First off, I think we owe a big THANK YOU to Yamaha and the vendors that honored the advertized price.
No doubt about it, we took advantage of a situation and I would have been fine if they said sorry, not gonna happen.

But, some luck has prevailed and a box arrived today with some new bits ordered June 19 from Stadium Yamaha (THANK YOU!).
But wait, there's more! I seem to recall something about a discount because of their new website, so the basket cost me $24.68........THANK YOU!

@ Don and Ellwood, Bite me! ;D

At Stadium Yamaha, THANK YOU!

Got mine today. My shipping was 14 bux so my total was $39 and change.

I will wait for the off season to install mine. I need to get the bike into my dealer so it can sit a bit and he can cold start it after sitting, My cam chain pensioner seems to be relaxing after sitting, I get a few seconds of rattling on start up after sitting. Noticed after the bike sat for a few days at the Hotel in Wendover.

Can somebody post the part number numbers of the CB , gasket, etc for the entire installation.

Are those specials still available. Who is willing to buy for me and post it to SA. I will reimburse the cost of the parts and courier. I will appreciate such help. I went to ask at the near Yamaha dealer the cost of changing the CB and I was told about 8,000R that is about 700$. Surely you can see why I would rather import it for it will cost far less including the courier and taxes.

The error in pricing that several people have been able to take advantage of is no longer available. partsfish.com shows the clutch basket at $290, the tensioner at $121, The gasket was 14 something for the side cover, $4 for the tensioner. It seems possible that that these big distributors might be able to ship international. The clutch basket change out isn't a big, fairly important change out like the tensioner could be. Chain clatter at start-up isn't a good thing, some possible clutch basket vibrations at cruise revs is only annoying. Weigh your battles, the tensioner is a more important thing to do if you've got the clatter.

Agreed 100%! This was the deal of the century, and it is very nice to have the new clutch basket in hand. I am waiting for the upgraded CCT to be delivered to my dealer and I will have both items installed at the same time.

A big thank you to Yamaha Parts Nation for the new clutch basket!

Cheers,

Bruce

Kinda figured. Thanks
Like the rest of the lucky ones, I too jumped on the "June" train.
Now I have to ship it to Croatia, cause my dear mother said "hell no! I'm not carrying another 6lbs of your shite".
:( i just hope it doesn't get lost along the way.

Mine turned up two days ago in Australia, installed it straight away and now have 500ks on it. You guys will love the difference it's made.
::013::

So smooth right from 2000 rpm through the troublesome 3600 rpm range!
