When did you order it?

I was on the Alaska trip when I caught wind of the '14 clutch basket pricing and ordered on 6/30, but last I heard it was 8/22 back ordered, so I need to check and see what's up. Part of me doesn't want to wake the beast, just wait for the part and see if I get it at the low price.
6/9 or 6/14. Both are from Partsfish, both have a high enough amount. One was various bits and pieces... ha, some research; the basket was ordered and confirmed on 6/14, $33.90

Yamaha Sports Plaza in OR. No mention of any price change. It was around $36 with shipping.

Happy to see people are getting shipping notices for the baskets.

I noticed the new basket looks a little beefier than the old, which I believe helps smoothen out the power pulses (rotating mass like a big flywheel). That's probably why I noticed a difference right out of driveway.

Can someone weigh the old and new baskets. Might be interesting to see the difference in weight. I really didn't have anything to do that with. My wife hates it when I use the scale for my parts. :D

Too late now, I suppose, but in the future, just stand on the scale with and without the part in question. Wifey shouldn't have a problem with that ;)

for those who missed the clutch basket sale you can get a 2014 basket at Stadium Yamaha for $256.75 Still a really good price IMO to get rid of the clutch induced vibes if you find them annoying

So AVC weighed the baskets. ~ 1 lb heavier with the new one. I suspected that and I'm sure it helps with the rotating inertial forces
Old: 4 lbs 11.5 oz
New: 5 lbs 12.25 oz

I installed mine on the 21st last week. I like it a lot and notice the difference in the vibe reduction. I also put on the 2" Anti-vibe Rox risers at the same time so it's even more comfy. I am totally happy I jumped on that low price. ::012::

I cannot wait for this basket to get here. I just did a iron butt yesterday and the vibration given off a 5k rpms as it phases between the first set of springs and the second were so bad that you would have thought the engine was going to go. For whatever reason, my basket was in really bad shape at 20k mikes, now at 25k I think the damage is just accelerating like crazy. I would bet that I could get this basket to actually fail, but I am not willing to risk the engine trying to make it go.

I ordered June 15 from Stadium Yamaha.

I have a UPS shipping notice for a 5# package on the way from TX. Due 9/3. It does not say who the shipper is anywhere. Checked my account at Stadium and there are no updates. Ever hopeful.

Also ordered from Stadium and got UPS shipping notice on Friday. I think I'll have my new basket and nut on Tuesday. ::012::

I picked mine up from Stadium Yamaha on Friday. I'm going to wait till my CCT gets here to do the install. I also ordered a new rear brake disk and pads which have a new part number. I hope the change was to make them more durable.
