Awesome, I'll have to hit you up for some inside information about riding in your neighborhood.I’m in. No accommodations needed. I drive over from the house each day.
Nice find, Twila must have forgotten to send me a better copy.I found a better map and saved it as a .pdf which makes it easier to enlarge.
i did notice in the other thread you said you were hammock camping, I asked and they did have sites that will accommodate hammocks. That’s what I’m bringingIn.
Booked a cabin for the first three nights. I may go break out on my own for the fourth night and camp somewhere more remote.
See you fools there.
Look for the white tenere with the norse symbol on the tank.

Are you going via Yellowstone? After the Park if you take the 14a out of Cody it is a neat road. About 32 miles east of Lovell is a well maintained dirt road that goes to an ancient Native American prayer wheel. The dirt part is 4 miles RT. Those in the know figure the wheel is between 300 to 800 years old.Hopefully some of you that have been to the area have some suggestions. I’ll have my wife with and she doesn’t like any off road. I’m hoping to break away one of the days and do some trails. A compromise of sorts.
By July we should have some nice black top or gravel loops GPX files for those that want to stay on the roads. I have in mind a day trip road loop out to Devils tower, a second one out to Bad Lands national park, maybe another road loop up to Sturgis, Deadwood, Lead for touristy things, and of course we will have a must ride Iron Mountain Road, Needles Hwy, Custer State Park wildlife loop road loop. I'll try to pick up a stack of Black Hills maps and have them available which shows all of the best roads and sights. Black Hills Motorcycle map This map is made for road bikes so it doesn't include any of the great gravel back roads.Hopefully some of you that have been to the area have some suggestions.
