I’m in and deposit made for a tent site with trees, she’s good with my camping hammock. Really nice lady, I let her know no water no electric but I do need trees. Very excited to get to meet everyone. Hopefully my wife can come as well. I have a few friends that ride big adventure bikes that are not Teneres, is it good for them to come?

Although I've been hanging around here for 8 years I've never had a chance to make a Super Tenere get together, but I've made dozens of Yamaha FJR rallies where no one had heart burn about odd bikes. We regularly have different bikes in attendance at FJR events when guys move on to other bikes or bring friends along, but we always advise them to have thick skin if they ride Harley's or BMWs. ;) I don't want to speak out for the group buy I certainly don't have a problem with it and I've already invited a few Black Hills locals that ride BMW, Triumph, and Yamaha T7s with hopes they could lead some groups around their back yard.

Look forward to meeting you and the wife in July.

thanks :) no Harleys coming but most of us own one, looks like a 1200 triumph, possibly a 1200 Gs, and maybe a Africa Twin.
Thanks for all the work you’ve put in and I’m glad it’s on a weekend I could make it.

now the ole Harley ain’t bad on dirt roads. This is at the beginning of Phantom Cayon road.

We will be in site 642 from sometime Monday until the following Tuesday morning.

Hoping to bring our pseudo grand child (Angel) along. She (14 years old) can ride with me on the Tenere but if we are doing an all pavement ride Katie (the she who must be obeyed) will be with me on the Venture.

Since my wife will never see this, and I like riding with Angel on both bikes a few things.

I will have a minor and wife along so decorum required at my place.

I need some forest road type trips so I can ride the Tenéré.

If i am riding with the wife, thus on pavement and thus the Venture, could someone take Angel. She is a good rider and has a Sena in her helmet. You never know she is there.

That sounds Awesome bigbob, site 642 should put you right near all the action! Monday through the following Tuesday should give you plenty of time to see many of the sights and get some riding in. I'm envious! I've ridden the Black HIlls roads, forest roads and trails probably 30 days over the last several years and I don't feel like I've seen too much of it twice.

My wife said she wants to come. I’ve just reserved a cabin. We plan on arriving the 22 and leaving Monday the 26th. Count us in.
Looking forward to meeting you. I asked my wife to come along but we have a grand child expected on July 11th so there is no tearing her away from the new grand baby.

Totally understand that. I’m going to have to make it to see Mt Rushmore with my wife one of the days. We’ve never been.
