I have been looking for a new shield for my new Tenere and came across PUIG shields. Anyone try these? they seem to be used on other bikes.

For long distance rides, PUIG introduces the Touring series to minimize the windblast against the rider. These screens raise the windblast in several centimiters allowing the rider to keep a more comfortable position riding the motorcycle.
Manufacturated with acrylic of high impact of 3mm, resistent and durable. Rounded edge screen profile in 3mm from 2004 models, complying with the German TÜV regulations. It's not necessary to include a border.

Please post up the year of your bikes in this thread. The windshields are quite different in Gen1 and Gen2.

It'd also help if you mention your height and inseam.

I have recently purchased The Vstream Touring which has become available for the 2014 T. I have found using the stock, a mid size parabellum and now the Vstream, side winds are almost impossible to stop wind buffeting. I sometimes ride in Wyoming and the wind is always terrible there. Winds in Wyoming move the whole bike around. So far, I like the Vstream a great deal. I probably could have gone with the mid sized screen but went with the tallest touring screen and have it set to its lowest level. With the seat in the low position I can see over the top of the screen but find myself looking through the screen at some points in the road.. If I put the seat in the high position I can clearly see over the screen but find the seat slides me forward. I am 5' 9". I have found it gives me much cleaner air that the other two shields.

Parabellum and off road riding

Hello all, So I am thinking of replacing my calsci with a Parabellum windshield. I am also starting to think about going more off road. Is there anyone who does this? I am worried about dropping the bike with my inexperience and breaking my new expensive shield. Thoughts?

I use a Puig but I cut off 2" so I could raise it via the gen2 adjuster. This gets air behind it. I think it works well for me.

Installed a Puig Touring Shield 2 weeks ago. I like it and it works good for me in reducing buffeting. I do have it installed on a Madstad bracket.

So does this not fit the 2014+ model STs? You may have to change it to English at the top right. This is an Italian site. This looks like an Airflow that supposedly flits 2014?

FYI...Any Gen1 windshield will fit a gen2. Just remove the gen2 bracket and a gen1 will mount right up. If a shield is specifically made for a Gen2, then it will not fit a Gen1 without using the Gen2 bracket.
